So.... Real have gone to United and got a 2-1 win. Tbh I thought United played very well up to that red card and even after they gave it a go but do we think their morale will be damaged for the game on Sunday? Opinions on the red card? I think it's a yellow. Nani didn't intend to do that. A yellow for me. United have a major decision go against them at Old Trafford!? It was a foreign ref which was understandable but even so...

The one thing I don't get is on the BBC they are comparing it to the Ovrebo incident in our game v Barca! Give me a farking break. We know the media and all love United but that's a farking joke! We had numerous decisions... blatant ones... go against us whereas United have one go against them...

Anyway... loud chants of 'Jose Mourinho' and 'One team in Europe' at Old Trafford on Sunday? ;)

serves them right, it takes a foreign ref out of fergies and the fa's control to f*ck them over and if it had of been the other way around nani would still be rolling around now, even roy keane said that the ref was justified and that nani is a cheating fairy

I seem to remember United fans laughing at us after the Ovrebo incident with Barca and us... What goes around comes around...

Banner for Sunday like their Clattenberg one they did at the Bridge....

Cakir Cakir running down the wing, Cakir Cakir running down the wing, feared by the reds, loved by the rest, Cakir, Cakir, Cakir

Well I hope so! We should but you never know... I can't wait for Sunday's game now... Get to Manchester at 12 for a 4.30 kick off so a lot of time to wind some of your fans up etc... (not you of course though mate ;) )

Hate seeing refs have more to do with results than players, and this one was a dodgy old decision. Not a very nice feeling, as we all know, and hopefully, so do United now.

Regardless of who you support, football was the loser tonight. A fantastic game and encounter was ruined by the red card. Could quite have easily been a classic going to extra time etc rather than effectively being over by 70 mins.

How was football the loser?, i thought the sending off opened the game up and as you'd probably expect i wanted Real to win and i thought the ref got the red card decision correct, but because your team lost you're looking at the game in a negative light(not surprisingly).

Decisions have gone against many teams at OT over the years and Utd have beaten teams with 10 men due to dodgy sendings off and never complained, it's swings and roundabouts G_l.

The whole spectacle of the game was destroyed. Completely changed the dynamics of a potential classic that will now only be remembered for the controversial referee decision.

And never complained? Get real, all anyone talks about for weeks after is the conspiracy theories <laugh>

Excuses. We came back v barca with ten men last season and turned round a 2-0 deficit

    We certainly did :emoticon-0100-smile.

Sometimes a ten man v eleven can fire up the team as they go up a notch to compensate, which I truly thought was going to happen last night.

Just shows again what a once in a lifetime performance that was last season v Barca when down to 10 men, away from home and two goals down.

Laughted my f...ing arse off when bacon face came stumbling down the stairs after the sending off, I suppose when you rarely get a decision ever go against you at home it's hard to know what it feels like. Once again he refused to speak to the media afterwards as well. And then the reaction of the United players...Rio, Giggs etc.

Hats off to Jose provinding an honest assessment at the end as well, showed some real (no pun intended!) class.

Perfectly good goal disallowed for Real too, yet barely a mention. Typical biased United arse licking media.

Thank god we can stop hearing about the treble being 'on' again as well.

    Nail on head.

And from a tactical viewpoint being 1-0 with a lead to protect in many ways should have played into United's hands. If they had dug in and seen out 15 minutes Real would have began to panic and acted more hurriedly in their approach to the game

The red mist got to Fergie and instead of getting Jonny Evans on or even Valencia he decided to throw a wobbler and protest

It did, the trouble was we had 15 mins of total disruption where we lost two goals, not as professional as i would have liked.

What's intend got to do with it. Most tackles are for the ball so really the majority, large majority of reds are unwarranted?

Really? cos no one intends to kick the other player it should not be red? What next, you knock someone down with your car but because you did not intend it you go scot free?<doh>

Please stop it you sound stupid.

I hope you pull them apart in the cup, play it tight, they'll be wound up, and pick them off. Oscar for a brace.

Keep the ball in the area of the park Nani is playing in:) Rafael has gotta be a target though, such an awful defender
