He'll recall Schlupp I should think.

He's still our player and no doubt we'd have that option.

I think we may do something like Watford and play that 3-5-2 with Schlupp and De Laet. I think that'd work quite well.

Have Knocky playing behind Nuge and Wood.

    James and Drinkwater holding.

    Well, thats what i'd do.

    Kane was **** tonight

I would start Waggy alongside Wood on Saturday. Maybe even play Nugent in a 3

    Can we not recall Moore?

I'm beginning to think Pearson is over a barrel regarding Schlupp. I think our club wants to maintain our good relationship with Man U and the Schlupp deal could be part of it, especially if we really do let him go for peanuts. I don't think we'll recall him if Man U don't want it to happen. Maybe the best we can hope for is a Zaha type deal, but they'll want him to play if that happens.

Good Leeds support tonight (as usual), and the chant of the season so far
    'We glow in the dark
    We're Leeds United
    We glow in the dark'.

They keeo reiterating how Schlupp is available if required.

He will now be required and i imagine Utd will just be happy for him to get some pitch time if they are going to sign him/unsure whether or not to sign him

I agree with you 100%. But that's far too radical for Nige. Mind you, saying that, he has had the audacity to stray from 4-4-2 twice in three games now! :emoticon-0104-surpr

It's the same problem we've had for years - not having a plan B to break opposing teams down who are more focussed on not conceding than they are on scoring. I wouldn't be surprised if 90% of the games we've won have involved an early goal and/or a very positive first half performance on our part. When we get that early goal, we're comfortable defending a lead and always look likely to score. If we don't score in the first half, or go behind, rather than try something different to disrupt the pattern of the game (change of formation, personnel, focus; anything!), the message just seems to be "Keep plugging away and it will come." Well unfortunately, it doesn't always work that way...

I know what I've just said could probably be applied to most teams in the division, but it's always seemed accentuated with us over the past 5 seasons or so. We are basically the football team equivalent of Matty Fryatt...

    EDIT: Tangent, much...? :undecided:

Nigel would sooner hack his own arm off before playing 3 at the back!
