You just tend to be quite pretentious when talking about Italian football, e.g. correcting people on calling AC Milan, simply AC.

    That's great. <ok>

This sort of thing would never happen with goal line technology. <ok>

Yup, and it's a piece of piss if you know the rules and apply them with some common sense.

I don't really give a **** about Man United, but they were ****ing robbed tonight.

A red that should have been a yellow, appalling officials all round, even Morinho said the best team lost.

Makes a farce of the whole competition, why use refs that work in third rate leagues?

It's like getting some spotty kid from McDonalds to wait tables at Ramsey's.

I don't know what football is when you can't do a jumping kick, studs first, in to another players chest...

Oh... he wasn't looking? That makes it better then...

if that is a red then all overhead kicks will have to be outlawed.

Only if you do an overhead kick into another players' chest.

Is it only me who thought "Everyone apart from BCC will know that was the wrong decision?"

Agree with the OP really. Not a Man U fan at all but I'll always favour an English team in Europe (unless it was Leeds).

I was looking forward to watching this match with the City game on the radio and both were ruined by predictable nonsense from the officials. We were all predicting on here that the most important thing tonight was how many penalties Palace would get. A situation were your average message board ****er can predict accurately which teams will get penalties is just ridiculous. It's the same teams every week? How many's that now for Palace? 14? ****ing joke that is. Swanny can say what he likes about getting over the decision but once you go a goal down away from home it isn't easy, especially in a big game like tonight. His suggestion that we should have just decided to score 2 more straight afterwards was comical.

And they don't ****ing even themselves out either. That's one of the biggest myths in football. It's the same teams that get decisions every week. We get less penalties than everyone else, every single year.

As for Man Utd, this happens every ****ing year when there's a big European game involving an English club. We get all excited about watching a good match and it's just the same old crap yet again, game ruined by a ridiculously harsh decision against the English team served with several penalty appeals turned down. Every ****ing time... FIFA and UEFA are always moaning about the English feeling sorry for themselves, maybe they should stop ripping us off time and time again ffs.

I hate Man United, so couldn't give a **** if they've gone out. More so the local tossers that follow Man U.

Maybe it's the same teams that get them every week because of the way they play? Palace have two wingers who make 'mazey' runs in to the box. It seems fairly reasonable that such a playing style is going to get you more penalties, than a team that crosses balls in to the box, or does more work outside of the box.

Then explain why Leeds, who statistically are one of the worst teams in terms of creating chances (and presumably therefore, getting the ball forward into the box) have had more penalties awarded outside the area this season than we have had penalties?

I'm sure there are exceptions, but I imagine there is a strong correlation between time spent with the ball in the box, and penalties received.

(Sorry, just got the penalty joke <laugh>)

    Bullshit.

I've posted in annoyance about Man U's decisions because they're an English side. I'm the same if it's Chelsea, Arsenal or Man City too.

I've never had a 2nd team or any of that ****, but I do want English teams to do well in Europe just as I support England internationally.

I find it really childish to be honest when people have a big hatred of Man Utd just because they're a cool team to hate. It's the same as glory supporting in a way really, just following everyone else... If you're a Liverpool fan or whatever then fine there's a rivalry but why should a City fan have strong views on a top PL club either way? It's sad.

Because our city is full of the weak parasites who 'support' them.

We have to coexist with the shallow ****s.

See today's HDM article about the turd from Beverley who supports them and whose daughter won a competition to the Real Madrid game tonight.
