I've got make yourself in my car now I don't think it's even incubus' best album never mind 3rd ever.
Each to their own my friend. Can't believe I forgot to mention one of my all time favourites; Everything in Static by Jack's Mannequin.
I really dont understand votes for things like The Masterplan. In my eyes its not an album, it's a collection of b-sides handily thrown together on one format.
Brilliant thread. 1. Doolittle - Pixies 2. Grace - Jeff Buckley 3. Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness - Smashing Pumpkins I've had to savagely cull so many other brilliant albums that I love, and it tugs on my aching soul. But rules are rules.
i prefer 'The Queen is Dead' - it is usually higher up in those 'best of' lists music mags do ! Both cracking records though !
Melancholy and the infinite sadness is also in my car right now, both CD's, ****ing great album.... The world is a vampire
This new lad Jake Bugg has a new album which is pretty good. My all time top 3 would have to be, The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses Definitely Maybe - Oasis Demon Days - Gorillaz (What's the Story?) Morning Glory - Oasis comes very close too. Maybe Michael Buble would be close 'n all.
I was sorting through my CD's this afternoon and found some ****ing shockers that her indoors has bought in the past. I could go on and on and on but I won't. I will just say these two words which as I'm typing make me physically sick and my face contort in absolute ****ing fury and spiteful, spiteful hatred. Kula Shaker. I loathe everything about those ****s and thought you should know.
1) Highway to Hell - AC/DC 2) Appetite for Destruction - Guns n Roses 3) Hello Rockview - Less Than Jake
Kula Shaker were big when I was at school. At that point, I was getting into Supergrass, Blur, Ocean Colour Scene, the Manics etc. Then I abandoned that lot for a few years while I went through a very moody teenage period with shocking music taste, only to revisit in later life and realised I had been right first time around. Wasn't he a posh boy, the singer? Hush!
Crispin somebody or other and yes he was a posh boy. Govinda was and is the worst song ever recorded. Pure dog manure.
The were turgid but come on, they pale into insignificance when it comes to Billy Ocean Colour Scene.
