"She has been to watch Hull KR play Hull FC which is a great atmosphere, but this will be completely different."

Only the HDM can manage to get a mention of hkr and hull fc into the same sentence as Manchester United and Real Madrid. (says StanTheMan......wait, what?)

    ****ing glory supporter.

She's a Hull lass, shouldn't be supporting them anyway.

I like a bit of rugby league, particularly Rovers, but all that bollocks about RL being massive outside the catchment area makes me cringe.
Although, it's still better than Union :)

Them comparing Rovers & FC to Man utd & Real is funny as ****. You really worry about them at the HDM. I hope Buckingham has gone and slapped the twat who wrote it.

How's a story about two glory hunters off to Old Trafford instead of Selhurst Park a story anyway?

Or he could be a Manc now living in Beverley. Or his dad may have been Man Utd.

I dont know the family so I don't see how I could judge them

I have a friend who's family were proper die hard man u fans, house was covered in man u stuff, never went to the game, had a family member who moved to Manchester, they were the complete package.

A lad who's a Leicester season ticket holder married into the family, took them to a game, they're now all season ticket holders at Leicester, house tricked out in Leicester stuff, always wearing Leicester city merchandise, not a hint of man u left in sight. And they all lived happily ever after.

    The end.

If that were the case he would of told HDM that to save himself the embarrassment of being seen as a glory fan.

It doesn't mention anywhere any of them being Man U fans. Their dad seems to have simply entered a competition for a random mascot place in the EUFA competition, and won a place for one of his daughters.

Ironically the one who doesn't seem to be arsed about football is the one going, but she could end up going to see the mighty tigers as a result of this if she enjoys the atmosphere.. Either way, how is being able to walk out with some of the greatest players in what will be the most watched game in the world tonight a bad thing for a 7 year old lass?

Sorry but I just don't get the outrage about this, unless I'm missing something and they are ER Man U fans which of course would be a /facepalm from me.

"I entered both my daughters into the Uefa competition and got a phone call last month saying Olivia had been picked to walk out with the players," said Mr Dale, who is a Man United fan.

Definitely a plastic Manc, a proper Man Utd fan would never call them Man U since they see it as an insult. Can't remember the exact details or where I saw it but something to do with a song being sung about Duncan Edwards being Manure after he died and then TWS and Liverpool used it after Munich.

Life long Man U and Hull KR fan I suppose . Only goes to a game when he gets a free ticket . He'd support Wigan if they gave him free tickets .

That can't be true, it's only FC fans who support other football clubs to spite City fans rememeber? <laugh>

For what it's worth, I think it's inexcusable regardless, if your from Hull you support Hull.
