At somepoint we're going to have to start playing a goalkeeper.

As good as we're doing this season, some of the results have a very amateurish look to them. You get the feeling both sides spend the whole game with 7/8 players charging around after the ball at anyone time, like an under 7s game.

    <laugh>.

Not livid at all, more disappointed as it sounds as if lessons haven't been learned. Anyone who has watched this side this season will know there have been periods of sloppiness in most of our games and it seems it caught up with us last night.

Obviously it would be great if this squad were successful in this competition, but the main criteria is to bring players through to the first team. I have seen enough games at this level this season to believe our academy structure is on the right track and we do seem to be ahead of many other clubs playing in the under 21 competition.

With the likes of Andros Townsend, Tom Carroll, Alex Pritchard, Jon Obika etc all having featured regularly, we were always going to do well, but to see young talent like Coulthirst, Veljkovic, McEvoy (baby Bale) and Luongo flourishing this season along with the return to form of Dean Parrett, leaves me encouraged and despite last nights result being a disappointment, I think it's been a good year for our young talent.

How many, if any, do make it at Spurs remains to be seen of course, but for the moment I think we're doing ok.

From Wolves fans on the other side ...

    Teams.

Wolves: Cotman, Whittall, Cranston (Reckord 71), Evans, Tank, Ihiewke (capt), Ismail (Gorman 83) , Jakobsson (Winnall 79), McAlinden, Price, Forde.

Spurs: Vigouroux, Fredericks (Stewart 61), Byrne (Bartram 76), Luongo (capt), Gallifuoco, Veljkovic, Munns, Bentaleb (McEvoy 71), Coulthirst, Parrett, Ceballos.

No Miles in goal (which would have made it 3-1 at worst :) ) .
Bentaleb having a run-out. Coulthirst obviously with Obika and Kane on loan.

But as Spurcat said, there have been periods of sloppiness (especially after taking the
lead) that have escaped unpunished. The 2nd half of the Liverpool home game most
    notably.

Is the seating at the Os first come first served on the night, or specific seats ??
Would like to get my preferred vantage point (especially if the attendance
    is high) .

They only open the west stand and it was always on a sit where you want basis last season, even for the NextGen final. If I remember rightly, I believe they're padded seats as well and a damn sight more comfortable than those at the Lane.

Its plain to see that those of you that can attend the youngsters games have been greatly encouraged the last couple of seasons. I have a good idea who you think may have been a key figure in sorting that out (not with us anymore!), so do you see any reason his work won't continue?

"so do you see any reason his work won't continue?"

If a regime is understood and always in effect, then the creators don't have
to be around for it to continue. OTOH if Inglethorpe had to shout the odds
on a daily basis otherwise things lapsed, then that is a big issue.
