I was waiting to see when leftism made an appearance.

    Leftfield- Leftism
    Primal Scream- Screamadelica
Happy Mondays- 24 hour party people plastic face carnt smile(white out).

Most people would listen to the Happy Mondays first album( recorded in Driffield of all places) and would think it was utter dog ****.

They would be wrong and I am right.

I've never the love for Oasis. Decent first two albums, but just copied them for the next 15 years. Plus, they nicked tons of riffs of other songs.

Is that Hijack, the Terrorist Group, who were British rappers signed on Ice T's label? If so, I used to have that album. I even saw them live at the Leadmill when Ice played there. If it's a different Hijack ignore me.

I cannot narrow it down to 3 albums - it changes on a daily basis.

I do know it wouldn't include the Wee Papa Girl Rappers. An old bird bought me that ****e for Christmas one year. I binned her for that!

Noel happily admits to taking riffs, it was all about the lyrics with Noel, unbelievable song writer.

    Bummed.

Great album and a rather amusing name. The inside front cover is a bit rude as well.

Write for luck, Oakenfold remix is the best tune from the Madchester era.

    IMO.

I don't think The Stone Roses Second Coming gets enough credit. There's some fantastic musicianship on that album.

If this was top 5, he'd slide in at number 4. But there isn't any space in my top 3.

I'm of to Butlins (Skeggy) this friday for the 90's weekend, where a lot of the music listed on this thread will be aired.

I'm with a group celebrating a mates 40th and a Stag weekend combined.

    Anyone else on here going?

Criminally underrated - it only just missed out on my top 10, but could easily go into it depending on my mood.

I think It's a very dark album, where as the first album is really sweet and summery.

The main reason it got panned is because The Roses wouldn't play the media game.

Songs for the Deaf - Queens of the Stone Age - So many good tracks and despite Lullabies to Paralyze being quality, this just tops it off for me.

Drunken Lullabies - Flogging Molly - Real feel good album, always makes me smile. What's Left Of the Flag is a top track.

Make Yourself - Incubus - Some stunning tracks on there, including the very underrated Stellar. Drive is perfect for just that; a long hot summers afternoon drive.

    Special mentions to:

Conspiracy of One - The Offspring
Drunk Enough to Dance - Bowling for Soup
    Mutter - Rammstein
    Continuum - John Mayer
A Thousand Suns - Linkin Park
    Metallica - Metallica
We Were Here - Joshua Radin

Some great shouts mentioned already, agree with whoever it was that said about Matchbox 20, they are awesome, Unwell is one of my favourite tracks.
