I'm just laughing that you think that Swansea team you beat was a top half side . I'll rephrase, you'll thrash lower half sides and then struggle against the big boys like West Brom.
West Brom?, the same West Brom that beat Everton earlier in the season?, you're only 3 points ahead shogs and your GD is crap.
You certainly are Swim, as far as i'm aware i stayed on topic with shog's post and responded to it, and if it was ok for shogs to comment on LFC on your board it's ok for me to respond isn't it?
If I am touchy, it is in good ****ing reason. Not been the best of days to round off a terrible week, if you must know. Last thing I want is a thread derailed as I came here to try and put some colour into my life. So back to the OP. And your opinion about our final position is? Sorry, seemed to miss it?
As i pointed out to you Swim i was responding to a post that included a comment about Liverpool on the Swansea board by an Evertonian. Considering you never slated shogs for mentioning other teams in his post apart from Swansea whats the problem?
I think us and the Swans and Everton all have a chance of 5th(especially if you beat Arsenal in your next game), the Gunners are 'on a downward spiral' according to AVB and hes not far wrong. Anyway good luck and lets see how it pans out in May.
Cheers ... if we got 5th I think I'd soil myself! Cant see it, but who knows? It seems Liverpool have reverted back to their usual final games form. All the best.
hardest game for us imo will be Norwich, always seem to beat us, yeh manu loss prob, spurs struggled v whu, rest are beatable, be an interesting run home, with a lot of luck may catch liverpool, everton or even arsenal but putting my pessimist hat on 8th or 9th, optimist hat 5th or 6th - either way great season
5th? My god, we have a monster run-in mate. We have to play the Top 5 teams... Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd. On top of that nightmare we also have to play our bogey team Norwich who are the only team so far to have a 100% win record against us in the Premier League, and not only do they win against us, they thump us hard in the process and just to make things even more interesting, we have to play bleeding West Brom who we are competing with for the same finishing positions. If however, the Swans do manage to come through this... I will be a proud Jack. I do not mean any disrespect to your team, but you are expected to get points in these sort of games because of the name on your club's crest, for us, it marks a massive step in progress. If you told me we'd finish 5th in the Premier League about 5 years ago I would have attacked you for taking the mickey lol....
