    The Beatles - White Album
Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
The Fall - Grotesque (After the Gramme)

(Seriously, Oasis albums are being considered amongst the best of all time? I know this thing is subjective, but come on, Blur have way better albums).

Usually you see a pattern - most Northerners like Oasis more, most Southerners like Blur more. I buck that trend and prefer Oasis.

I think i'm the only person to mention Blur before now, which has surprised me.

Blur have great albums. A Damon Albarn album at least should really be in there.

    Nevermind - Nirvana

Songs of Faith and Devotion - Depeche Mode

Killing Joke - Whats THIS for

Really hard to choose in all honesty, could easily swap in any Joy Division, Smiths, Poison Girls, Hurts, Morrisey or Killers albums, plus others if I thought about it. Chose those 3 cos they all remind me of a specific place or time.

You could probably justify any of them apart from Leisure.

    Best three from Hull bands?

    I'd go:

    1) London 0 Hull 4 (mainly for the title) - The Housemartins
    2) Jump Leads - Fila Brazillia
    3) Mrs Two Dinners - The Gargoyles

That'd be over quickly because we all agree it would be any 3 of the Star Wars films in any order.

As for music, I hardly know anything about music really. Sounds ridiculous but I'm just really ignorant of most music. I'm into Green Day at the moment. I tend to find that when I get really into a band and buy some of their stuff I realise that 99% of it is boring and it's only the few songs I already knew which are any good. I'm in that phase with Green Day now, just bought their 3 new albums and nearly every song is slow, boring and not what I thought they were about at all.
