Albatross, it may have a long way to run, but my experience with Rangers, no
matter how much trouble they are in they always come up smelling of roses.
Cambell Og and friends with their constant shredding and reprinting of papers
have plenty of time to have the Rangers 1872 cleaner than clean. Scottish Officals
have always been of the same school as Rangers. The lawyer who represented
    N. Lennon, was about the only person who knew and wanted to know how to
beat the Rangers/Scottish Official axis. Sadly he died suddenly in India (I think )
with that poor man dead I don't think that fair play or justice will ever come about.

Paul McBride QC was the man your refer to. I understand your frustration, but I suspect that LNS has batted this one away because he suspects that rfc will lose the UTT and that my friend changes the ball park completely and introduces UK tax and criminal law.

The UTT means that the payments were illegal. Celtic have to then approach UEFA to make a judgement on the titles illegally won, assuming that HMRC win, which Barclays clearly anticipate they will. The Court of Session stand to make themselves a laughing stock if eventually the Supreme Court over rule them. House of Commons would want to know what the hell is going on with Scottish legal system.....

Didn't Rangers 1872 admit paying 5 players by EBTs illegally and are awaiting to be
told the tax and penalties involved with these five. Surely those five that
are admitted would represent competitive advantage . I have a feeling with
every other club in Scottish Football in would except in the cosy wee
Arrangements that the Rangers clubs have with the SFA/SPL.

Half wit in SSB claims that the club did not benefit because the cash went to the players.

Even LNS said that there was no reason to believe that the players would have signed for rfc if they had not had the advantage of the EBT scheme. The club, now defunct gained by not disclosing £47m of payments to players. Without those players they would not have won 5 titles in the period, nor would they have gained millions from European games.

Cheating.......wait till the UTT is declared or the Supreme Court hearing is declared before demanding apologies for cheating accusations. LNS said in his last page that he treated the payments as legal, but a reversal would mean that his findings would have to be revisited, since registration is no longer the issue.

    This is far from finished.

Correct, but that went under the radar as MSM claimed a victory. The scale of ALL EBTs being declared illegal payments would be hard to deny. Rfc are on their own btw with the UTT as HMRC have split the MIH case into four separate entities.

A lot depends on fans of other clubs reacting to a clear case of industrial scale illegal payments. Also LNS examined only Registration. He did not look or rule on unfair sporting advantage from illegal payments. He says that this changes everything.

Like yourself I do not trust the process or organisation which produced ferry gate doggie gate dallassgate etc etc, but to be proven to have made illegal payments over 11 years is difficult to gloss over and I suspect UEFA could not ignore it.

So while the sfl, sfa and uefa maintain its the same club, holding on to the belief that it is a new club isnt grasping at straws?

See what I did there? Except I did it a wee bit better.

UEFA? I must have missed that.

Of course I appreciate the logistical and commercial imperative in the SFA allowing the transfer of licence between Rangers Football club and Sevco Scotland. The fact of the matter is that Rangers ceased to operate as a football club according to the rules of the league they were in. The fact of the matter is that Rangers are presently being luquidated. The assets were sold off including the football operations. That which is identified as "the club" is kaput.... Gone. Finito.

So when I say clutching at straws... There is some substance to it<ok>

Are you kidding? Weeble's still bitter about migration to and from Direland over the past 200/300/400 years. He'll be spewing about everything that annoys him until he dies.

    He's a special type of ****.

Best just ignore him, no **** takes him seriously any more, he's even derided by his own on here now.
