Never felt more like singing the blues, when rangers win, and reading/villa/wigan/saints/toon lose...
but i didn't think city was that great & missed aguero, if we can keep a grip on beneteke then the games ours.
Villa played ok, but city was the shadow of that what they use to be in the last season. I believe we have a chance against them with Remy. Their attack didn't convince me and it remind me of our attacking play altogether. If we beat Sunderland im positive we get at least a point from the Villa Park.
I thought Villa were very well organised defensively, only in the short periods when City stepped their game up to the levels with which they won the PL last season, did they start to pull Villa apart. I'm concerned we very rarely reach those levels to be honest.
I thought City's defence looked sloppy/average at best though. Villa had a great workrate over the first 30mins, if we can match them for that then i reckon we stand a good chance of winning.
I agree with you Oslo, we'll have to be at our best and have a little luck to bring three points home from Villa Park.
