I blame the lack of Banter on Liverpool being **** right now. You bastards will be half decent again soon enough and the banter will be good.
For me, as Gerrez said, Ze has my 100% backing on this and my biggest peeve with it all was the childish, point-gaining, "your dumb, no you are", banter that was being thrown around. My question is...... look at how everyone has worked it all out on this thread, why did it take a closed thread for it all to suddenly be worked out and now everything is peachy? Just giving my views but since I have taken over the MOD role and just seeing what other mods do and how we try to run things here, is that we try to be fair. We try to let some stuff slide in the hope that it can be worked out, if not then there is a warning/ban/closed thread etc. There needs to be a better thought of what you might want from us, banning everyone and everything in sight, or to keep trying to keep it as fair as possible. We always have our posters in mind first and foremost, but we have to walk that line of free debate and when you step in. THere is no gameplan, instruction, or guide for being a mod. I think overall bow, ze, luv when he was one, and hash have all been tremendous at that and Gerrez and I are still getting the grasp and trying to let people have their opinions but stepping in when it gets out of hand. The Banter thread will probably be re-opened at some point. UIR does love those points he gained from it!

Supposedly grown men calling each other playground names is what's pathetic, imo. Banter with a bit of wit can be entertaining, however inane. Routinely slagging each other off in a humourless fashion is dull, and reading the same old crap gets boring. I'm all for keeping it in the one place, however, and people who get off on it can fill their boots whilst sparing the rest of us.
What's also a bit tiresome is some who come on and sit the other side of the fence because it is the other side of the fence and not because they have a differing opinion, you know what I mean Tobes don't you?
