The problem is certain posters are intent on following posters around the board repeating the same old rubbish. OK we get it. You think BBF is illiterate and Dave is a bullshitter that pretends to know everything. Can you think of something a little more original now, please? Because some of us really don't want to see the same old argument and hilarious 'joke' in almost every thread Dave or BBF have posted in.

I first looked at the site a few weeks before I joined. It seemed to be a constant ****storm between KPR and any number of manc posters who felt up for it at the time. At first I thought it was a waste of time, and the only reason I did join after the demise of 606 was that the alternatives were even worse. It's become much more settled, but there's still a lot of aggression masquerading as "banter", imo. I rarely went on the banter thread because of that, so no great loss to me- I just hope that it doesn't all migrate to the rest of the board. Banter is one thing, but the perpetual derailing of almost every thread is just childish and pointless.
Pretty much the consensus that derailing and long winded cat fights are the biggest pan in the proverbials, and actuals too. banning worked before. It can again if warnings are not heeded no matter what team you support. Lucas, damn you, people now think I am ilitewrote. illitrite.. illeterote.. Damnit..
I've not read the comments in this thread, nor have I read whats gone off on the banter thread today, but Ze has my 100% backing! I have put the odd hint/warning on there and I have also raised this issue with the other MOD's. The personal abuse that was being posted is totally unacceptable whether the person being abused is offended or not. Posters do not want to see it and it as (in recent timed) ruined what was a good thread. Hopefully, posters will learn to have a degree of self control and restrain from such attacks. I'm sure the thread will be re-opened in due course. Over and out...
