He has the requisite insanity to make it as a top class keeper. Needs to channel it better at times, though.
I feel we've improved from the first half but haven't been able to create those all important clear-cut chances. The worry for Liverpool is that as we push more forward in search of a goal to get us back into the game, you have the likes of Rowe & Sinclair who can catch us on the counter! Sets it up for a good last 25 minutes.
I enjoyed that, really entertaining match from start to finish. LFCTV coverage is excellent, credit to them for covering their under21 team so well.
1.1 Didn't think I'd watch all the way through, but was an enjoyable game. Saints played well and showed talent, but were tiring at the end. Good result.
we have to ask and see if we can cut the games down to 80 minutes, our boys looked knackered at the end. Good game, our back 4 looked composed and Gazza played well,Forren looks composed on the ball, we lost control of the midfield, Rowe put in some great crosses but were mainly wasted with Sinclair being the shortest player on the pitch- can only hope that Rickie gets the same service in the near future.
FFS another lead thrown away this season, how many is that now?! Would never have happened if Nigel was here.
His reading of the game, interceptions and tackles were. He got turned so easily though. He's a big lad.
Alright lads, here is my thoughts on the game. (Expect some Liverpool bias! ) - Full-Time: Southampton Under 21's 1-1 Liverpool Under 21's. Good game to watch and you certainly look like a very good side. Omar Rowe (Who I mentioned in my summary) looked very good in the first half and his delivery from set-pieces caused us a number of problems. Good luck for the rest of the season!
He showed many glimpses of it. But as said elsewhere, he looks like he should be working in Kwik-Fit and he is slooooww.
