.....or should that read 'padded cell'? ;)

I think Roger has actually missed a couple there though - there is always the dreaded possibility of loss of form, not to mention the Tall Poppy Syndrome to contend with. Eleven out of the twelve remaining teams we have to play will be aiming to 'chop us down to size' and be lifting their game accordingly. The twelfth is Cardiff - the only team above us.

It's okay Saxet, he's been released by Ipswich and won't be coming back here.

Seriously, though, with the fantastic season we're having can we please all resolve to try not to be w@nkers about it?

I would love that too. But i dont want to be over confident. I would rather dream small and have them exceeded than dream big and have them dashed.

We have nothing to fear from the team in 2nd place. The hope is the top two can create a gap to the third team to make life a little easier. Right now you are 2nd and that means we are in the same boat trying to stay there. If the other teams want to help us then they can lose all their games from now on. Neither of us is planning on giving hull 3 points.

I know that football does not turn on a single game but I think Wolves was your watershed - had you lost that you would be only five points ahead of two teams with 2 defeats behind you and the fears of a wobble would be rife. As it is you won and are 8 points clear with a game in hand and you need only to get just over a point a game now to finish top.

There is no way you should be able to mess up now - so yes - do us a favour and beat Leicester and Hull

Got SSN on, and apparently the latest odds with Skybet for promotion are: Cardiff 1-28, WFC evens, Hull 5-4, Leicester 13-10, Palace 9-4, Brighton 5-1, Blackburn 9-1, Middlesbrough 11-1. Obviously those willl change after tonight's matches.

Yeah we'd be laughing because we'd expect to be favourites to win the league.

Interesting that the only person who thinks Watford wont make the play offs is a dumb Hull fan - clearly mathematically challenged :)

Bet this is not the result we would get if we polled again now :(

My own vote would downgrade to play offs - and failing to win through
