    Decent article.

Nice to hear that Boyd isn't bothered if the Palace fans have a go.

except for the fact that we were not into our final year of our parachute payments last year, whilst I would argue significant sums have been spent on players as an NPC Club - £2.6m on NP, £2m on Brady and £1.5m on Meyler for example..

As a national journo not a bad effort though..

His reference to 'foreign owners' ie including the Allams is a bit misleading - with their history and links in the Hull area they're hardly comparable to the owners of Leicester or Cardiff for eg. Still it is the Daily Wail

Agreed. Most of the national press have done good articles since saturday with our victory.

As for the London Mails article in question (above) it ends in the paper with a quote from Larkin not shown here. It says and i quote ""At the train station there is a fantastic new statue of Hulls poet, Phillip Larkin, containing a line from THE WHITSUN WEDDINGS. This was 'a sunlit Saturday' all right. A few more and by Whit Sunday - mid.may - Steve Bruce, George Boyd and Hull City could already be in deep preparations for Life back in the Premier League."" un-quote.

The Yorkshire Post sports supplement today is also a good read. <ok>
