I'd be bold and say Reina would have felt hard done not to be in that contention as well. He was back to his best today and had he not made some of the saves, it could have been a different game.

Rush/ Chief, 6D was talking more about the support, the energy from the away support, not the fact we beat Wigan.

    That's a funny looking trophy... <whistle>

Sounds like a fair appraisal - pretty sure Wigan had more shots and shots on target than pool yesterday? But that just highlights the hypocrisy on the part of some of your fans - the Beeb put up a headline effectively saying Suarez single handedly won the game, ignoring more important contributions by other players, and that just proves how much they hate him?!?

No big deal, Wigan never sell out so when big boys like you lot and us lot visit we get tickets all over the ground and make it like a home game.
Same at Fulham, with United at least. (it being a local game for all our fans)

He was still getting all excited about Wigan away, which is fair game to take the mickey.

It's also not that difficult for the away fans to show energy when you're ahead within two minutes and three up after about half an hour. Just like with Zenit, the true test will come not when you're up and cruising, but when you're struggling and need the fans to lift the team.

But hey, let's not spoil DeDoDah's moment of glory <ok>

I wish we had a world class first 11 like Lfc, maybe we would stand an outside chance at top 4 as well.

That's why we have all of the refs on the payroll, because we clearly can't compete with the strength of their first eleven on a level playing field.

What other choice do we have? It's not like our club could ever attract world class talents like Shelvey, Sterling or the new messiah Coutinho...

Desperately seeking support from his fellow Pool posters and receiving precisely **** all from anyone.

Then DDDD turns up to save the day. Major kudos there then.

Are BBF and DDDDD dating? They seem very quick to defend each other over even the smallest of things, just like most couples do.

Saracens Head looks the winner but I'll leave that in your capable hands. Looks like a bit of grub can be procured in there too, just to fill in the gaps during the match.

Getting twitchy about this already, has all the makings of a classic and a proper nail biter. Real big game.

Where's Matth, we need a mad pre match thread, he'd have had one going before the Norwich game?

Does he know there are less likely ABU ****s there maybe? The Saracens looks good based on the reviews though but not bothered really, would like a seat and clear view to the screen mind. Quite like to watch my matches in comfort if possible!

the saracens is sound but there will be fans of other teams in there, plus its tiny so we would need to be there early. I have no clue about the winning post.. Will speak to him later and suss out why he wants to go there.

You'll always get a mixed bag anyway, it's to be expected. Do you get saddoes turning up to watch United games in their Liverpool shirts hoping to see us lose?
