I enjoy going to Selhurst Park. If we go up I hope Palace join us: easy fixture to get to for me.

I'm a bit old for the cheerleaders these days.......

"Money's not everything & he clearly showed which side of the fence he was on so sod him, we've done well ourselves with Dobbs & KP, he's where he belongs alongside SB, another money grabber" - thechaddyboy

    Oh dear... <doh>

They claim that both Steve Bruce and George Boyd are money grabbers now <ok>

Not anything down to the fact that Boyd has been a big fish in a small pond for ages at Posh now, and Steve Bruce definitely hasn't dropped down from the Premier League to the Championship <whistle>

Most of those Palace fans came across as having pretty sensible views, however they obviously don't know we've agreed a deal for Boyd in the summer

They have a very good home record, just hope we can break it.

Yes they have John. Only lost one at home and have scored something like 41 goals at home.

If we avoid defeat I will be happy

Just been looking at their predictions http://www.holmesdale.net/page.php?id=106&tid=130155&page=3

Every single one of them has them down to either draw with or beat us, not one has us beating them (I don't think they've even comprehended it as a possibility after reading most the threads on their board) yet they have them down as drawing and losing to Barnsley at home <laugh>

I really hope we batter them 17-0 after some of the ****e I read on that forum.

Shock horror! A set of fans of a football team, who have a brilliant home record are in a confident mood and predict their team will win a game of football. Who'd have thought it, eh?

They seem in two minds about Boyd whether to boo him or not etc, if he was true Palace fan he would have joined them etc.I think GB will have something to prove to them and to Forest.
Lets hope the same v Burnley 2-1 to City

The better the home record the more chance of it being broken!

Bruce will get booed down there apparently.

Something about him falling out with their old chairman and leaving.

All the more reason or Boyd to score a winner then eh? <ok>

I'm as optimistic as the next City fan but I'm afraid in the next two away games, Erik's impending prediction may be closer to reality than we'd intend.

Big test in these next 2 games but if we take 3 points from them then I will be happy

I'm more worried about Forest. They're playing well at the minute.

Palace will be a slog. Good job they have a week to recover.

Burnley- that weird hoodoo has to come to an end sooner rather than later.

If we play like we have done in the last two home games then we will beat Forest. It is the away games that are more of a worry but hopefully the Bolton debacle will have made sure we are on top of our defensive game

I think Forest are in a golden spell following the reappointment of their favourite manager Billy Davies. I heard from a Forest fan that all the players upped their training levels and performances to 150% when he went back, that can't go on forever. I think once the honeymoon period starts to wear off they will take their foot off the gas a bit.

I'd like to think these things happen for a reason.

Although, 6 goals conceded in 2 games is ****e. Most of those came from sloppy play and us switching off.

Bruce is a professional and as a defender that'll be the first thing he addresses, since the attacking side is doing well enough at the minute.
