Nugent and Wood 0 - 4 Gedo and and Boyd. Not really tough at all. Only one game, obviously, but what a way to start. We've been playing good football all season(Leicester, Boro and Wednesday apart), but we've had a problem with having no strike force. Now we have a strike force and if you weren't nervous before, you should be now.
We were saying that when we signed Wood. Everything was rosy for a month and then... What do you mean about Nugent and Wood 0? In the five games they have played as a front two together they've got 8 goals between them.
My Posh mates were more gutted to lose McLean than they are now having lost Boyd. I think that says a fair bit
I was just being sarcastic. Yesterday was the first time Boyd and Gedo played up front together and they were brilliant. We haven't had a decent strike partnership for years, so we're a bit chuffed that we seem to have finally got one. It's only one game, so in reality it's far too early to get carried away, but our lack of decent strikers has been our achilles heel and we might finally have resolved that issue.
I understand that mate but be warned - we though Wood was the missing piece of the puzzle when we signed him. Bizarrely, even though he's doing great, the results are getting worse. It's like having a high maintenance car. You fix one problem then something that's been so reliable for ages goes wrong. Cars may come with guarantees but football teams do not.
That people who have seen them play 400 times between them know a bit more than people who have seen them play 76 times

Boyd has come to us permanently already and Gedo has said he doesn't want to go back to Egypt and sees his future with us. I'd say the players we've 'borrowed' are here to stay.
There you have it then. Written in stone. That Gedo one is just a standard line nothing out the ordinary.
This is why I should read before I actually post things. I assumed you meant one of the strikers had been borrowed, whereas clearly they've both been. Silly old me.
