I think it'd benefit us for Leicester to win, provided of course that we do Palace. Even if Leicester win their game in hand, it won't matter provided we keep on winning; they'll still be five points behind us. The chance of nicking top spot might spur the players on to go that extra mile. They already have the incentive of promotion, but to go on and actually win a league (something that hasn't happened in my lifetime) would be awesome.
I have to say that I am in total agreement with many of their views. Even if he does manage to get them to the PL, which I seriously doubt, I think that he woudn't last very long. He seems, to me anyway, to have a problem dealing with big personalities, and, unfortunately, that goes with the territory of being a top flight manager, if you can't successfully deal with those sorts then the cracks soon appear, naughty step, good players sent out on loan etc. All I can say is thank god, and Papa, and, in a roundabout way, Pearson himself, oh let's not forget the Sunlan & Wolves Boards, for Steve Bruce!
"That's correct....his football bores me! Which is why I stopped going. Watched most games under Sven and enjoyed it. Will return when the club comes to its senses and gets rid of Pearson. When you've been brought up on attacking football served up by managers like gillies and bloomfield, the 'build from the back' dross served up right now is totally unpalatable." hehe
Draw for me. Leicester arnt out of it but a draw will really hurt their chances and it will hurt Cardiff as well.
A tad irrelevant but i just realised our game vs palace kicks off at 8, wereas kardiff lester and whatford are 7.45, that's an extra 15minutes of nerves i didn't want
A draw obviously, but a better result would be that all 22 players have a mass brawl, knock the referee over, the game is abandoned and they are both deducted 3 points by the FA. (...is it time for my medication now nurse!) LOL!
I know a few have said draw, but the idea was if you had to pick a winner with the draw not being an option
It needs to be a draw for us to get the most benefit, unless by some twist of fate we win our next two and Cardiff and Leicester lose their games this week. In that situation we would be top with 1 point more than Cardiff on the eve of their game and in those circumstances a Leicester win would be our best result.
Erm....No it wont. Well not as far as Cardiff City are concerned. After it the Red Dragons will still have a game in hand on All the top 6 teams as there home game next saturday V. Barnsley has been postponed due to it being FAC weekend(Barnsley @ Man City instead) so Cardiff dont have a game betweeen this tuesday and next tuesday. The Barnsley game has been re-arranged for mid April. But it does give Hull City a great chance to catch them up. Who knows what the table will look like by then.
If we beat Palace this week and Cardiff beat Leicester next week - it basically becomes a 2 horse race for 2nd between Watford and us - I'd take those odds, particularly as we have to play Watford at home
Provided we beat Palace, i'd want for a Cardiff win. I'd be well happy with that. At the minute let's actually get 2nd spot before we look at even challenging for the title. Some people getting carried away again. Palace will be a tough game but it's not impossible for us to go there and get at least a point.
