Our biggest AIM must be not lose, OK I know it is the object anyway to not to lose but inevitably teams do but we can not afford to. All teams have a run, 3 to 6-7-or 8 games (or more) when they win or lose, this season our runs have been on the negative side and we now need a positive one of about 8 games we are 2 games in and have 4 points so the next 6 games need to bring us a minimum of 10 more points........ Brighton are not very giving have only lost 4 of 16 games played away and drew 6 they will be tough Middsboro Just beginning to wind up again, pity we did not play them 2 weeks ago ! Wolves how can they be down here? Drew 5 and Lost 5 could be a real stinger of a game when we get them they are well overdue for a win or 2! All teams down the bottom will have a run at some point, Barnsley's being the latest example but little things can and do derail them - in the case of Barnsley, they were on fire when they came to AG which made us beating them all the more important, not only for that game but also to disrupt their momentum and it did cos they lost again yesterday and with any luck, their minds will be on the FA Cup game on Tuesday... Little things change a season completely - a poor decision, a contested goal, anything that upsets the equilibrium can cause teams to go into a tailspin which is why it is so important that we beat every single one of our fellow relegation candidates which will have a big impact. Frankly, I didn't expect anything against Brighton but I did expect us to beat Boro, lets see...
Every match is a tough match whoever we play, so we can't imagine a match is going to be easier than the next one. We are playing the best we can with our squad and confidence is growing resulting in wins and clean sheets, so lets keep this positive feeling going!
