Although... having said that, i've just watched the replay of the first goal and that was a very obvious foul on cazorla in the lead up.
Arteta was allowed to pull and tug his way through the 1st half and your players where constantly dragging and pulling dembelel as they couldn't the ball off him.
Vermaelens defendign though...argh! What is he playing at, he has so much quality but he has been ****ing up this season far too often!
Vermaelen is a joke. Mertesacker is too slow. Both had horrible games despite Merts goal. Monreal looked lost as he had no protection all game. Walcott non-existent. Wilshere saved his worst performance from this. The blame however, lies solely with the manager. Leaving it too late to sub, taking Arteta off instead of Giroud who was awful and is starting to irritate me more and more with each passing bad performance. Shoulda kept Jenks on and taken off Ramsey, to be replaced by Rosicky.
thats big of you but i cant agree. Both teams had chances, you dont get too many at this level. You took yours although you had less. All the possession in the world DONT make us the better team . Spurs have got a good balance of reasonable defending and lightening and EFFECTIVE attack. We have a great midfield but are far to slow to attack effectively . Its not rocket science to work out who is going to prevail . Well played.
Whatever Alberto. You Liverpool fans should be grateful we've done you a favour. There may be Europa league football for you next season after all.
so is referee fault? for GOD sake every home team in the league (including arsenal) get most of 50-50 when playing at home .. get over it
Read what I ****ing said about our defending costing us the game. I was responding to his post about the refree so of course I would mention him, like I said OUR DEFENDING COST US.
That's a fair assessment Gunner. After the goal you scored I'm struggling to think of any other chance you had. I'm sure you would have rather lost 3 or 4-1 giving it a go. Still a long way to go though, we've ****ed up bigger leads!
No its not. They have Pool, Chavski, Stoke and Sunderland, in general the harder run in. Yes we ****ed up but its far from over.
Arsenal where always going to see more the ball, as they have a better midfield unit, where as we have a better defence and are superior at taking our chances when they come, so our game plan defeated theirs. Although first half it looked worrying up until our 1st goal, if they had RVP then it would have been a different story.
I have to say well done to spurs. Your a team on the up and it showed. We on the other hand are very much in decline. If you make top 4 this season it will be because of games like this where your fighting spirit has rewarded you with a win. Good luck for the rest of the season. Maybe this is your time!
As someone has said before , to fail the offside trap at this level is ridiculous. rule 1 , line one , You play to the whistle , you DONT stop and shove your hand in the air in perfect synchronisation like ****ing shop dummies.
