Morning all, sun blazing down and the right sort of temperature to get outside and do things. Everywhere you look now there are signs of spring, buds on the trees swelling, flowers appearing in the green lanes and birds starting to sort out their nesting sites. I was reading last night that Coventry had just signed a player on loan, before the transfer embargo comes into force on them for not filing accounts on time. So once again you can see a club knowing the rules and using them to their advantage. Their CEO was suggesting that the club is on the brink of going under in a very short time unless something changes there.
So, given that comment, I think that it's a fairly safe assumption that we're paying Dickinson's wages. We must have done the same when he was at Pompey earlier in the season.
I think things could be worse. Cardiff City and Liecester City both lost Hull City won and we did not lose.
Who can tell me in simple language the best way to insert a picture on a thread. I confess my PC skills are not great but I thought I would be able to do it but so far have failed. I clicked "insert image" above and it told me to choose an image from my PC so I selected one that said its size was 35.7kb but when I try to upload it tells me I cannot as my file exceeds 97.7kb and is 105kb - which my PC does not agree with - what am I doing wrong?
My mates daughter broke her leg playing for Watford girls yesterday - she plays in goal and came out to challenge the Northampton player and suffered a broken shin for the cause. At least she managed to keep a clean sheet ...
Looks like the suits in charge of the egg chasing game are as bad as those in charge at the FL. London Welsh are in danger of a points deduction, which would see them relegated, after pointing out themselves a registration problem with one of their players earlier this season. Apparently they should have registered the guy as 'English qualified', but left out the 'qualified' & the RU say he was therefore ineligible to play. Bunch of toff to$$ers if you ask me. http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2013/feb/26/tyson-keats-hearing-london-welsh
Off out tonight with some of my Watford supporting Twitter buddies (and a Derby fan lol)...see you later, have a great evening!

BB - It seems the administrators of our games are in place just to have jobs and grab the best tickets and VIP parking, they never add anything. Thanks in advance for the frothy AK.

Morning all, Frosty start to the day here, but clear blue sky and sun. Forecast for this afternoon is 16C in the shade. The soil is still very cold yet the supermarkets and garden centres are full of plants to put outside. Clearly they hope that people will plant out now and have to buy again when they lose their first purchase. Four goldfinches have been on the seed feeder in the pear tree just outside the window. Last year they nested in the tree and had young ones. Probably they are are the most colourful of the birds who come to us to be fed. Thanks for the coffee ak, needed to fire the system up after my exertions yesterday.
Morning Frenchie.... I have made the mistake several years in France of planting out on some dizzy early April day only for a hard frost a couple of weeks later to come and kill everything.....
Since I started putting niger seeds out we sometimes have up to nine goldfinches at a time in the garden. They seem to eat far faster than any others we put food out for and are far less nervous...they often carry on feeding when other birds have been startled and flown off.
