In the past, i'd think the comeback would be on, but we don't really have a talisman to pull us out of these murky times. Wilshere is a brilliant player, but he doesn't score goals.
Harder task, coming back from this 2-0 score line or Ivan's attempts at justifying the ticket prices next season ?
I've been a big supporter of Vermaelen and a big critic of Koscielny, but... Vermaelen was at fault for both goals. His bad form has gone on for too long. Strip him of the captaincy and bench him. Koscielny is our best form defender right now, and he's on the bench. Wenger has his favorites, and that will never change.
but ...but ... we just bought a great defender didnt we ???? How can this happen ?? people were hoping the ridiculous Villa goal was a one off . Then , mysteriously , another 2 ridiculous pieces of defending , what are the chances. ?
@gunner.b.alright - whats so funny about what i said? Having watched the half time analysis they have basically agreed with me that it was all Arsenal until spurs got there second goal. So i'm obviously not alone in what i saw...
Unless an English team wins a European cup this season Germany are going to overtake England in the UEFA coefficients and England will drop to 3rd. Luckily Italy are quite far away from 3rd place but I wonder what the Arsenal board would do if England lost a CL place.
I'm all for keeping patience with polayers, but Vermaelan has cost us with his individual errors this season on several occasions. Kosc has to replace him as first choice from now on.
I just worry we dont have the strikers to score the goals we need. Walcott needs to get his act together.
