Really slow start from us today, but their defence has been asleep and exposed. Clattenburg's desperately trying to get them back into the game though, so we need to come out in the second half and keep the ball far better than we have. Defoe for Adebayor might be a risk, but it's one worth looking at. Shame we've got no other options, as usual.
Well we didn't play great in that half but the scoreline is great. We need to contain and play with discipline to restrict them in the middle.
Arteta's on 4 fouls so far and Wilshere should have given some away too for shirt pulling. Oh well, 2-0 is a good half time score, we need to keep it tight and keep hitting them on the counter. No point over stretching ourselves when they're going to be piling forward for an early goal back in the second half. If the first half's taught us only one thing, it's that our defence and 'keeper are much better than Arsenal's.
Stan Collymore's called for Villas-Boas to sign him up, as he'd like to have a go at this Arsenal defence! Might be worth a go, sadly.
They have to come forward now. Hopefully we can exploit the gaps that'll leave. Also we need another. I can't see us keeping a clean sheet today.
Adebayor has been getting it from all directions but he did make that run to allow Bale through on goal. Makes me wonder if AVB has given Adebayor instructions to make runs and take out defenders, allowing Bale space to run into, although he has still been useless in other areas.
Before this match, PISSTAKE was bragging about how Walnut was going to win this for Arsenal, and how overrated Bale is. Seriously, lads! You couldn't make this up!
It's not over yet. Let's wait till full time eh? We need to keep it tight this second half. An early goal for them and it's game on sadly.
This is going to be a tough second half we need to close them down remorselessly Parker & Dembele can do it.
That man is a complete knob! He's basically saying that we're 2 up, not because we deserve it, but because AFC are so useless - so useless, that even he could score.
