As the tests have gone on its seems expectations of McLaren and Lotus have fallen and Ferrari and Mercedes have gone up. Red Bull have looked dangerously consistent and I believe they'll start the season on the front foot.

At the moment I see it as:
    1. Red Bull
    2. Ferrari
    3. McLaren (if they can set it up... please please please Button)
    4. Lotus if it works evenly matched with Mercedes assuming they're not holding back to much now.

    • Ferrari sources have told Gazzetta that the passive double DRS is not a priority for them for the little gain it brings
    • According to Gazzetta, Red Bull has had serious problems in making double DRS work and are not sure they can use it in Australia
    • According to Gazzetta, the Big 3 are still Red Bull, Ferrari and McLaren, Lotus and Mercedes would only be a 'threat' in the first few GPs

What if Chilton outraces Bianchi? Will that make him better than even di Resta?

No one will use the PDRS at Australia, the corners flow too quickly and the chance of causing a spin is too high there, almost a bit like Monaco IMO.

Malaysia will likely be the time we actually see it being used, 3 nice long straights and nothing too dangerous.

I agree, mixed with still understanding the car I think teams will be foolish to try pDRS at Australia.

Bianchi and Glock would of been a good lineup.

Arrrghh Johnny Herbert on commentary is making me cringe! He says things that are obvious and seems like he has no idea what he is talking about.

Herbert has been Skyafied which is a shame since he was really goog last year. Instead of being up McLarens arse they seem to be up Mercedes' and Lewis' now which isn't their fault of course, but it gets annoying consider what you pay...

I've never rated him as a pundit knowledge wise, he seems like a top guy though.
