Have to take my hat off to the lad for yesterday's hattrick.

My favourite was the second goal. It's not often you see those kind of clever 'slow-motion' finishes in today's game where most players prefer to launch it any chance they get.

Do you think he could be a true Utd great?

Too early to say but if he played for a certain other club their fans would be insisting that he's one of the top 5 players in the world.

I've always felt he looks good on the ball, and links up well with players around him.

I felt the criticism was a little premature, as his season has been interrupted by injury, and he's a young player getting used to a new league.

Yesterday will do his confidence the world of good, and hopefully we will start to see the player that won the Bundesliga POTY last season.

People seem to forget he's only 22, so he's still got a fair bit of potential in him. I think in a few years well look back and think what a bargain he was:biggrin:

I prefered the 3rd goal, the game was won but he ran from deep and was motivated to complete his hat trick and capped of some good build up play from Welbeck and Rooney with a cool chipped finish.

You still hate Kagawa and think he is ****, like your earlier thread. Give the lad a chance

My biggest criticism of him was how easily he is pushed off the ball. I don't think I've seen him win one 50-50 ball this season. We all know he's extremely talented, he just needs to continue to adapt to the game. Part of it will be to hit the weight room and bulk up.

Top performance from him against Norwich and easily his best game so far in a United shirt. He has not really settled in during his short time at the club and hopefully that performance will give him a big boost in confidence for the rest of the season.

That goal where he just calmly tapped it into the net was just a sublime and cool finish.

FFS give the lad a fu*king chance. He has been off injured and he has had a good game this weekend. So why write him off as a squad player? <doh>
