The goal at Blackpool was onside. We have been robbed of two points. When the ball was struck Davies was onside, their keeper saved it and Davies was in place to tap it home. Those points could be crucial.
I thought the same when i saw the reply. He was onside when the shot was taken so should have been given. but Shiny we would be outside the relegation zone as we would be above Barnsley on goals scored as we would be level on points and goal difference if we won 1-0 but we have scored more goals so we would be above.
....that's ****ing marvellous Shiney - it doesn't take much to do it for you mate. "Top of the relegation zone!" - what an achievement that would be..... Still, after the season you've had with Nero fiddling over on tomato island and sitting on his dosh, that would be some comfort. Never mind mate - you can do it by beating the shirt lifters on Tuesday - they lifted ours last week and we can still feel the thrusting.
Morning old sparky or is that lights going out? 11 points clear 2 weeks ago down to 5 still 33 to play for 36 for you I believe. Still I suppose you could just make the play offs. Its going to be hilarious if it happens that you fail automatic now with your gloating.
Who's gloating ROD? When you lot do it you call it banter - it's only us that "gloat". Double standards over there methinks........
You still pissed from last night? Read back some of your comments over the past 2 weeks. Saying your prem bound etc. As an area it would be good having you lot in the prem but all I will get is plastic Cardiff fans trying to wind me up in my hometown. I had it 2 weeks ago calling me not a proper supporter for having my driving awareness course the same day as Dragons v City game. When I questioned them it was the only game they have been to this season whilst I'm a season ticket holder
Meh, we're closer to safety now than we were before yesterday's game so can't complain too much. Only seen the goal on tv and no chance of seeing it from the angle on the FL show. Brighton game is going to be bloody hard.
We're closer to safety than we were three weeks ago! That is progress. Jambo; I've got a DVD recorder in line with Sat box and TV. Freeze frame as Moloney kicks the ball and one has the goal area line clearly in view between Davies, B'pool defender and goal line. Davies was level with last defender.
Fair enough mate I only saw it the once and had no idea so didn't want to get too hung up about dropped points when yesterday was a decent result for us all things considered, obviously 3 points better than 1 but still happy with it.
Davies looked onside, not much doubt about that but not sure we were robbed. It's part of a football season and proves again a long held belief that Refs decide a majority of 'tight' football matches. Hopefully we'll get a few decisions our way but you'll never change Officials making mistakes. Lie back and think of England - it's all you can do. Great point yesterday.
We would actually be above Barnsley on goals difference in terms of matches vs Barnsley this season, as they beat us 1-0, then we won 5-3. So we would be sitting above them right now had that goal been given yesterday.
