The stats suggest we should get a result and West Ham dont have a great away record - having only scored 8 goals on the road. We have conceeded 18 premier league goals in our last 8 games (but only 14 at home in total this season) and have only 2 wins in our last 10 premier league games which were home wins against Liverpool & Reading! LAST 10 Premier League Games: 2 Wins; 3 Draws; 5 Losses: Points (9 from 30) LAST 39 Premier League Games: 9 Wins; 18 Draws; 12 Losses: Points (45 from 117) West Ham Form Guide: West Ham currently siiting in 14th place on 30 points (-10 GD) - coming off a tough home loss against Spurs with a late smash and grab from Bale - AGAIN. With 1 wins and a draw in their last 7 I would imagine they dont fancy their chances. going for a home win as West Ham have not been travelling that well rather than any confidence in our illegitimate leader.
Tough one really, the way they played against Spurs we would be lucky to get anything from the game! The get the most crosses in the box in the league (I think?) and without Huth, Shawx could have a battle on his hands keeping Caroll quite! They are without Nolan which is a Bonus and we are without Ethrington so unless kightly has a blinder we are going to struggle for width and pace, especially if Walters plays aswell. I fancy us to sneak it if we play well, but I would be happy with a draw - and thats what I have gone for.
Difficult to call this especially with Huth suspended. Spoke to a colleague at work yesterday who is a West Ham fan. He thinks they lack creativity and prefer to play long ball tactics up to Andy Carroll.....(sounds familiar doesn't it). Stoke need a win but I will vote for a draw, that way, if we do win it will be a bonus. Pulisball v Long Ball Sam .... very entertaining.
0-0 , No prizes for guessing who will be shown last on MOTD. Passed my bedtime . But does anyone WANT to watch it twice ?
If we maintain our points : games ratio to the end of the season , as we have achieved in our latest 10 games , ( info kindly supplied by Smithers ) , then we should finish with a total points of 43. A bottom half finish again ; safe enough but no improvement year on year. But what a price we have to pay for securing safety. It is gut-wrenching to watch our team , and we are left to admire and envy some of the opposition players , with our big moon eyes and tongues hanging out. We are Stoke , and we deserve some of that , its what I was brought up on , and like Cheryl says "we are worth it".
Sod this guys I'm going for a home win, IF we don't win this weekend I will be even more anoyed than I was a couple of weeks back.. with or without Huth we should be O.K. Clueliss will blame anything other than Huth being an idiot if we dropped pts this weekend. I've not commented since Huth got the 3 game ban so here's my oppinion. Clueliss shout belt Huth with a wet towel in the dressing room. He simply can not continue to man handle, push, shove, elbow players around any longer simple as. I see it this way, IF Clueliss hits/shouts/ threatens/or confronts Huthy, someone would get badly hurt get my drift? It's one sure way of getting Pulis out of Stoke City F.C. ANY other Manager would have slated Huth before now.. but Clueliss say's didley squat about it. Will we miss Huth.. Nah cos Clueliss will play SHOTTON at Centre half is my guess or Owen. Pft UP and AT EM K.T.F.
A playtex moment (lift and seperate) with a wet towel eh Potts, they'd have too send out for a crow bar to remove Pulis's head from where Huth would stick it!!!
Wet towels in the showers etc? I doubt that Robert Huth is (into that kind of thing) NOT that I would ask Huthy myself.. I value my life Jowler.
I have said often enough that Hith is a liability and I stand by that. Saying that TP ought toi get it through to his players that if they give forearm smashes to the opposition they get find by the club as well as being banned. I do think we will win and although coneceding have enough to put one over these poor travellers like Stoke! 36 points will feel much better and match last season after those wins against Norwich and Swansea in early March 2012
Huths out and I saw West ham v Spurs and they played very well = away win, sorry but at the moment I cant see where the performances are going to come from let alone the resuts. Pulis out!!!
Now I voted for a draw whilst hoping for a home win but today is a lovely day and I am feeling spring like so for those of you attending the Brit this afternoon forget about Pulis, forget about negative tactics and roar the team on. Lets get that much needed boost a win would give us. UTP
Well that wasn't great was it? Didnt like the team selction and whilst Wilson did a good job today at CB (I thought so) for me Cameron was the obvious choice with Wilson remaining at LB. Adam, again on the bench and made a difference when he was on but there are onbiously serious issues here? 45% possesion, 2 shots on traget and 4 corners against a so called weeker team who dont play football - doesnt bode well really. Ohh and to top it off, TP has a dig at the fans in his interview - all in all - a good day at the office! Hope those early bird season tickets do well?
Smithers, Missed the game as I was visiting relatives, just seen the stats and they make us look like the away team and that is against opponents that don't travel well!! it doesn't look good for the next couple of games at least.
Smither's Well that was exactly WHY I won't be renewing my S/Ticket.. **** performance, **** game, then Clueliss say's if the fans want to moan they can! Oh and it's feckin STOKE CITY Mr Clueliss. NOT " This football club" Will T.P. leave in the summer, you bet your'e sweet ass he won't. **** it. I've seen enough, complained enough, get behind the team ALWAYS have done that. Ballcocks PULIS. You ain't getting any more money from me. Then the aftermatch comments WTF??? You have taken the piss once too often. RANT over.
Moelfre Yesterday morning I watched my NINE year old Grandson play in the local under TEN'S league! Honestly, It was enjoyable, they lost 3 -2 but they played again in the afternoon a game I wish I had watched too! He scored they won 2-0 and that is what I plan on doing next season mate. They put more passed toghether, look composed on the ball, all the basic stuff from ....... kids who ENJOY what they are doing and don't rip off the pulic in the process. It's free, stress free all the player's don't dive around, lie down like they have been shot eg Andy Carroll etc. HACKED off with Clueliss. Oh, and leave the radio at home.
