We thought all our problems were solved when we signed Wood and then Kane. But it doesn't work like that. Sometimes you don't perform for whatever reason. Or you let in three in the first few minutes like you're lot at Bolton. Were those players playing then?

League rivals yes but Scarbs point was if Hull get automatic he'll support us in the play-offs. We won't be rivals then if you're already promoted.

He's explained many times why he regards Leicester as his second team. Just because you don't like it doesn't make him sound ****ish.

Boyd wasn't on the pitch at that point, he was introduced later in the game as a sub, and Boyd makes an enormous difference as anyone that was at the KC today will confirm after he was withdrawn late in the game.

Seriously Boyd is one hell of a player and I cannot understand why no other team has snapped him up before now. Forest fans must be sooooooooooo pissed off with the 'failed eye test' bollocks, this lad will be an integral part of our team and has only strengthened, substantially, our promotion push

Not to you maybe, you are after all a Leicester fan, but I can assure you that to me it sounds ****ish in the extreme, pathetically so.

Listen today you beat a side that have described by some as the worst in this division (despite their league position). I wouldn't get too excited about how he might have performed today. I can tell you first hand that most Forest fans don't give a **** about missing out on Boyd, only feel embarrassed about the way their club acted. We'll see how he plays against better competition and away from home.

If a Leicester fan told me Hull was his second team, I wouldn't give a **** - unless I had something to feel extremely bitter about. Explains a lot. <ok>

This is a good site with good posters BUT quite naturally when you poach our manager mid season and then he tries to unsettle our players it would be unrealistic to expect us to not want you to come unstuck.
Had you signed Pogba(predicted on TB!)
Had you got Redknapp in(predicted on TB!)-you would be well clear by now.
These were seriously thought possible by some of your fans.It is seen as somewhat delusional by the rest of us mid sized clubs.
Oh yeh.Your goalie was on his way to Madrid!
This may explain why many are hoping Lester slip up.As I am sure they would if Hull fans started thinking we were a match for Juventus

Hang on, worst in the division? Brum were 3 points above Ipswich until you gifted them 3 points today. Brum were unbeaten in their last four away games, winning two of them. Ipswich on the other hand had lost their previous game at home 0-2 to Watford. So who had the weakest opposition today, and how did the magical strike force of Wood & Kane get on?

I can assure you that if most Forest fans don't give a **** about missing out on George Boyd that they may come to regret that on the 16th of this month, however I do agree that their club does appear to be an embarrassment at the moment.

In answer to #128 I couldn't have put it better, or should that be bitter, myself.

    Nice one cafe

FFS! Because people posted links to stories printed by the media, you want to see us fail?! Heard it all now.

I understand the Nige bit but most of your lot say a) they're over that now or b) they're glad he went. Either way, all seem to agree that you're happy with your current situation so let it go.

Bit early to believe we've "come unstuck" anyway. Plenty of games and points left. I still fancy Watford for automatic so we may well get the last laugh in the play-offs anyway.

Just as well as the unstoppable Gedo in your last away game.

Because they'd be playing you in the next season, obviously <doh>

Can you link me to this interview, because i've never heard him predict promotion and I think you're talking out of your arse.

He would never have said that. Pearson has always played down victories so he would hardly behave that way!

I can't say I agree with you on that mate. Regardless of what team someone holds under value whether it being their 2nd, 3rd etc it doesn't really matter considering his favourite Club actually is Hull City.

I support Hull City and North Ferriby as they're my local options and I was brought up there. I also have soft spots for Leicester and Bradford due to family connections. 98.654% of City fans are over Pearson's rather questionable departure and so that's no reason to be bitter.

Does that make me sound '****ish' as I also would probably be vouching for Leicester City should Hull be automatically promoted and Leicester finish in the Play-offs?

If you have family connections in some other town or city then, for me, there's no great problem in taking an interest in those teams results, or as you put it vouching for them, however you can only, again for me, truly support one team, especially if those other teams are in your same division.

As for supporting Ferriby & City, that's completely different as they are leagues apart.

Regarding having 2nd, 3rd teams, as you put it, each to their own, but it's not for me and never will be.

Nobody is asking you to buy a season ticket and a shirt complete with name and number of another club.

But you must jave a preference between one club to the next. Who (somehow assuming you get 2nd) would you want to come up with you?

Personally I would most prefer Hull.
