    Evening all
Don't normally do this but after all the crap from other fans and Crap newspaper reports i thought i would just say....
    Well done the Rangers today!
Still a long way to go but if we play with that commitment, then we have a chance.
Believe it or not Boothdriod played well, winning headers and scoring the winner. Granero gave the ball away too much and other than the goal set up, Park was rubbish. Samba was immense! Hill was a rock and for the first time saw glimpses of Hoilett running at players. Rob Green had what i thought, one of the saves of the season.
Our fans did us proud and i was nearly crushed when we scored the winner. As for the Saints fans???? I won't kick a dog while its down but you can guess what i would have said? (If only Kermit and Co were about)? <laugh> Oh yes and a fire drill..... They need to get over Arry as i saw grown men acting like kids.
Anyway onwards and upwards and i bet all thoses other clubs will start to panic if we win next week.
    You R's!!!!!!!!!!

Well done for being there Ellers. Although, why did you think that Park was crap? I thought that he did a Derry-job really well.

No mate i'm old now and drove.

Thought he was poor mate. Looked off pace and didn't seem to get into the game for me until he set up the goal. Granero gave the ball away nearly every time and needed to go off. (we are game of the day on SKY at 8.30, see how many times he gives the ball away). M'bia was M'bia and made me laugh.
Funny you mention Derry i saw him after the game walking to his car, must live locally?

None of the central midfield did well but Park was much much better when moved to RW, Ive said all along he shouldnt be in the middle.

I think you have a good point here, but he would never start if played there with all the good wingers we have. I still think he did a good Derry-job. We should really be happy that our squad has depth, don't you think?

Park was shocking. So lightweight in the challenge. And yet the first bit of effort he's put in since his move from united resulted in our winner. More of that mate and there's still time to be an Rs legend

Thought park was our best central midfielder today. He did more than all of granero/jenas/mbia, and spearheaded our effort to put pressure on saints whilst they were in possession. There was far less of a "little boy lost" vibe about him today.

He helped stop them play without inflicting his skill on the game until he was moved out wide. Ill be happy with him if he continues that form of the last 20 minutes. Taarabt, Hoilett and Townsend are all really LW and the right is Mackie, SWP or Park. Id prefer Park to start and that would give the more attacking left side licence to get forward.

SWP is useless and Mackie has looked exhausted recently so Id play Park at RW and Mackie for the last 20 if we need a goal.

Exactly, his effort was outstanding at the end. As i said in another thread, i hope hes now got his mojo back where he can be an effective 2 way winger.

I'm watching the game again on Football First and i stand by my comments that other than the goal i thought he was poor and looked off pace.
    However
We all have our own thoughts about players and i respect others views on theirs even when i think they are wrong. <ok>

Was he worse than Granero, Mbia or Jenas?

Granero was awful, Mbia was quiet after he got booked and I cant even remember Jenas doing anything. Park created the winner and also got a standing ovation for his effort at one point.

Was right next to the saints fans, it was such a smash and grab I shied away from giving it to them. They really don't like HR though do they?

Flyer i am not saying he was worse than the other midfielders. Read my OP i just said he wasn't (other than the goal ass) very good. My Op said Granero was crap and gave the ball away too much. I said M'bia was M'bia which he was and said Park was rubbish which he was.
Seen enough of he over the years at ManU and Rangers to say it wasn't he's best game. The commentator on Sky has just said the same thing that 'he is not in the game'.
As i said im happy with the 3 points.

The blokes to my right were right freaks! When they scored they had 40yr olds pulling faces like they were deranged. All that anti Arry stuff went quiet when Remy scored. They even had a carlsbe banner with his face on. Sadly they deserted in numbers with 10mins to go. And even on their way out they were giving the 'relegation' thumbs down. Only saw one Saints fan that said 'well done' and 'deserved it' and clapped us.
Anyway it brought back that day with Ray Jones (RIP) and Dex. <ok>
