What was your reading of the game Harry? I thought our attitude was poor in the second half - it looked like we were content just to be ahead instead of getting forward for another goal to finish it off. St Mirren defence got it very easy in the second half and we put pressure on ourselves by dropping back so deep and giving the ball away too easily. Credit to St Mirren though - they played well. Not a convincing victory by any means but a win nevertheless and into the next round so can't complain too much. Possibly, players' minds on the Juve game?

I am no Harry Hoods and I have not the same instinct and knowledge that he has.
I agree with you that they didn't push on as much in the second half but really
Carey's free kick was their only chance. I was happy, I thought Ambrose played
well and Forrest was superb. I think Celtic needed to defend as they have to do
It in Turin on Wednesday, on the other hand Celtic will have to find some
method of getting hold of the ball and retaining it after hasty clearances.

Yes and lets hope they've got the defensive howlers out of their system in the last couple of matches. At least one would think that attitude shouldn't be a problem in Turin no matter how it turns out - roll on Wednesday.

I will be brutally honest second half we were p!sh , just kept looking at my watch , wishing the game was over , st mirren has only one shot great save ( middle of goal ), not myself today , guy I go to every game was rushed to hospital with brain tumour yesterday , knew on Wednesday at Motherwell that he wasn't well , my thoughts are away from Celtic tonight

    I wish him well Harry.

That save you reference was sensational. Shifted his feet and got a real strong hand on it.

Yes Harry , things like what happen to your friend are the true trials people have face.
Don't listen rebbo, it was a good save, but the ball was close to him and at a good height ,
if he had let it in it would have been a howler.
