Oh how the press would react had Bale got a hat trick, they'd make a legend of him. Third best player, better than Ronaldo, Savior of the league and what not. Biased ****s much.

Need to add Kagawa to the debate. A hat trick against Norwich surely elevates him to one of the top five players in the world, perhaps even of all time.

Lol good one. What makes rvp 'world class' then? Suarez is now 2 goals ahead of the Dutch traitor playing not as an out and out striker, no penalty duties and for a much worse team in the middle of table.

    <laugh> <ok>

That's right, Kagawa hasn't fallen over all season and been fairly a ineffective signing, top top player. The treble against Norwich proves his class.

<doh> Anyone can score a hat trick at home to Norwich. Class players do it away from home, and with goals from the halfway line.

I cannot see Suarez winning the player of the year. He does well against weak teams but does not score against the top 6 teams. Also his punishment for racist abuse/behaviour will count against him.

No one except people associated with Liverpool will vote for him.

  11. Don't want Suarez to win. The less attention and praise he gets the better IMO <ok>

He has scored against 4 of the current top six this season that I can think off the top of my head Chelsea, Everton, Arsenal, City. You did'nt really think that one through did you? Dummy.

Would be made up for him if he does, but likewise if he doesn't - less attention. Hopefully then these other clubs would look elsewhere for players.

I stand to be shot down for this but....

The contest (and it's only in the mind) is between RVP and LS. Whilst Bale is on a 'hot streak' the other 2 have proved their goalscoring prowess over a number of seasons and in different leagues.

right lets give bale his due.

but lets be fair as well.

    1. he's improved year on year and is still young enough to improve

    2. there are many manyplayers who i could list off who are much better as players than bale.... i mean least be clear he's not quite i nthe top 5 in england let alone the world. aguero, rooney, RVP, yaya, mata and suarez are the stars of the show. you can even mention walcott in the same breath as bale....

    3. in spain you can just anme off half of real and barca like osil, kadheira, ronaldo, alonso, xavi, iniesta, messi just for exmaple. Bayrn have 4/5 who can go there too.

    4. if bale moves on quick and gets himself a great club in which to prove himself then he could well make the list of players who come after ronaldo and messi as the cabal of world class players. he's not there yet... 3rd in ingalnd and not a sniff of a trpohy is not an achievement.
