Poor finishing cost us in the end. We had a few great chances to win that game, and we squandered them, and the result - A ****ty scrappy goal and we lose 1-0.

Swansea were raping us in the first 20 mins, but afterwards we really controlled it possession wise.

I'm surprised that we finished the game with 11 men.

    My ratings -

Elliot - 3 - Disappointing. Uncomfortable for most of the game, lucky he didn't cost us a few times.

Debuchy - 6 - Not his best game at the back. But he did get us forward quite a few times and was a threat in attack.

Mbiwa - 5.5 - Some nice bits of skill, but nothing to write home about today.

Saylor - 7 - Saved us from being 2-0 down in the first 20 mins. He made some vital blocks and clearances.

Santon - 4.5 - Why the **** do we tuck him deep and rely on Gouffran to mark the wingers? Santon was never in the fullback position today.

Tiote - 5.5 - Lucky he didn't get sent off. Stupid challenges throughout the match. However, he did have some decent spells in the game where he broke up play.

Cabaye - 6 - Good passing, good work rate, **** corners, ****ter crosses.

Jonas - 5.5 - Good work rate, but didn't really do much in the game apart from play a short pass.

Gouff - 6.5 - Missed a great chance, but played quite well. Made some great runs, and the lad wins some good headers for a 5ft 9 inch bloke.

Sissoko - 7 - Played well, was up Swansea's arsehole for most of the match.

Cisse - 5.5 - One great chance, and usually the sort that he scores. Nothing special though. Won some headers, decent link up play.

MOTM - I'll give it to Sissoko for his efforts in attack, followed by Saylor for keeping us in the game.

Overall - No one to blame but ourselves. We started to get back into the game, and should have snatched it. What a great opportunity missed.

Oh well, we'll just have to turn up for the next game.

Deluded. We should have been 2 up at half time.

Draw was a fair result as both sides missed chances. Smash and grab but terrible defending cost you.

Wow, some really immature Swans fans on the Newcastle board today. You can state your opinion, but leave personal remarks like "deluded" out of it.

If you can't be respectful then **** off back to your own board and stay there with the other children.

No offence was meant. Bit touchy aren't you? But yet you come out with "**** off" <doh>

Any fan of either side who says you should have won I would definitely question even though I could understand it. But to say you should have won "comfortably" makes you deluded in my book as it's not reflected in what I saw live and not by the stats either. You're the only poster I've seen who's come out with this.

Like I said I actually think a draw was a fair result.

If you take offence at people having a different opinion to you then maybe you should grow a slightly thicker skin, deary. <ok>

tash i dont think you saw the game mate and are a little bit miffed you lost....the fact is we controlled the first half and should have scored more goals and the toon had the better second half where they should have scored....where you should have won comfortable is not in the script what actually happened......move on to the next game mate as this one showed we scraped home.....we all get wins like that even the toon...

Wasn't offended, just telling you to leave personal remarks out of it or **** off <ok>

There have been a few Swansea fans on this board today that have come in acting like prats.

If you disagree with what I said, then fine, but don't go around calling other people names. Saying someone is deluded is like saying that your opinion is fact, and anyone who says otherwise is wrong.

It's not fact that we should or shouldn't have won comfortably, it's an opinionated subject. Those who disagree with you are not deluded.

In my opinion we had the better chances, and we should have stuck at least two away and won.

I did see the game, there is nothing wrong with my eye sight. I saw that you were hammering us in the first 20 mins, then for the next 10 mins, we had over 80% possession. For the last 3/4 of the game we were the better side IMO.

Agree to disagree, no point in arguing.

But you didn't win. Get over it. Saying you are deluded isn't calling you names. Delusion is a state of mind. Telling someone to "**** off" and that I am a child in response is rude in the extreme and smacks of hypocrisy. But my skin is thicker than yours as I can see you're a tad upset. It's understandable.

If others have "acted like prats" may I point you to posters such as your Phil K? Unbelieveable. Yet I don't associate him with your posts and you shouldn't associate the Swansea prats with mine.

Qwop is also one of your more grounded posters and he said this on our board: "I am a firm believer you get what you deserve. You got the goal, you deserve to win. "

    Fair comment don't you think?

As for Mr Indestructible he's another of the "we should have won comfortably" brigade so you're in good company. <laugh>

    Coulda woulda shoulda.

Look, I understand you are hurting as I agree you didn't deserve to lose the game, but "win COMFORTABLY???" Really?? Forgetting our missed chances first half, a clearance off the line and a nail on pen for hand ball? Come on.

"Get over it". Read my review of the game. I said we have ourselves to blame for poor finishing. Try reading threads before making reactions to the titles of them.

Yes, delusion is a state of mind, and to call someone deluded is disrespectful if they are simply stating their opinions. My thread is in no way irrational, I blamed our team for not taking those chances.

It's not as if I came on here ranting, calling you lucky. All I'm saying is that I believe despite the fact that you came close early on, you didn't really have any clear cut chances in the entire game, apart from the one you scored from. They were only half chances from awkward angles, and they were dealt with. Our chances were far more clear cut and should have been put away,

You deserve to be told to **** off if the first thing you do on a thread is call the OP "deluded" for no good reason.

I eagerly await another one of your pathetic attempts to justify your immaturity.

Ah the 'deluded' comments are back again. This takes me back to the halcyon days of 2008/09 when almost every outside poster used it.

OK, so someone who says Toon deserved to win "comfortably" when the game itself and the stats say the opposite isn't deluded. Make you feel better? <doh>

"They shouldn't ****ing be in this league the ****ers" Says who? You're only in it because moneybags Ashley managed to keep his squad together when you were relegated. When you played us in the Championship you were awash with Prem standard players. Good for you. I was glad when you got promoted actually as a big club like Newcastle should be in the Prem. But we are in the Prem on merit whether you like it or not.

I suspect not after today but thanks for the 6 points anyway. :)
