So earlier in the week, Newcastle on 30 points were looking to attack 10th place and Sunderland were embroiled in a relegation battle. Wonder what they'll say now we're above Newcastle on the same points. They can't put Newcastle down so they'll be attacking 10th still... But that will mean we're attacking 10th and they can't say anything good about us... ITV may have to ignore football completely after today
I genuinely do not see this bias that everyone on here talks about. If anything, the media are particularly negative about us and rather neutral about you. Mind you, Newcastle (in general) seems to have a bad rep round these parts for no reason whatsoever
ITV are scum since 1999 when roger thames and co did not show our 2nd leg of the league semi final, had the mags been there no doubt they would have bull****** them all night. And the media think Liverpool and the mags are big clubs!, that has gone as Man c, Man u, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs are now the BIG teams.
QWOP earlier in the week ITV said that we were in a relegation battle on 29 points whilst Newcastle were looking upwards at 10th on 30 points... If that's not a little biased then I don't know what is!!
Maybe it has something to do with the contrast in form. We won 3 out of the last 4 whereas you lost your last 3. OK we lost today and you got a good point but I can see why it was laid out like that.

To be honest, I watch Look North for a bit and then get pissed off when all the news is about what goes on in Newcastle and Sunderland. Hell even Boro gets more coverage than York and that place is a cesspit. We really should not be on it. If there was a Look Yorkshire or something like that it would be more appropriate. I guess it has to do with the fact we are the bigger club and more universally loved. In all seriousness, I have never noticed it and if you eveer came to York, you would see the bad press Newcastle gets. Probably has a lot to do with all the hen and stag parties that come here from there

It was the same a few weeks ago when we were 7 points behind you lot except it was us in relegation danger. Views are all down to form in my opinion. Before our new signings we were all over the place, now we look a different team.
I think you're more in it than we are because the amount of points we have now isn't important, what matters is the amount of points you finish on, and your fixture list is far more difficult than ours is.
You expect this from rival fans..However, the local TV/Radio media is supposed to be neutral, but this is certainly not the case..They are Skunks to the core and show this at every given opportunity..
