Anyone worried? I have heard for the past 3 weeks that they have finished the standard movers and will start on L7 movers 'next week'. This has been the case, as I say, for 3 weeks now. And it doesn't help my fears of the rumour I heard.

The club are leaving our applications until after the season has finished so they will move us to separate areas around the ground. They are leaving it until the season has finished so we can't protest at any games. They are splitting us up because of all the abuse we have given the current regime.

If this is the case, and we do get separated, then bye bye SJP atmosphere. The Leazes Corner is the only place that sings when the team needs them through boring matches against teams like Wigan. The rest of the ground is ****. Sorry if this offends anyone in the Gallowgate, but its true, you have a few lads in the corner who sing but the rest fail to join in unless we are winning or it is a big game. Our home atmosphere will be as bad as Chelsea or Arsenal if the above story is true.

Slightly O/T but is it true they're increasing the away fans allocation?

It was a bit strong I must admit, just a bit annoyed at the whole ST situation.

But yes, they have to as they are breaking rules regarding allocations. We only offer a max of 2800, which is 200 under the legal requirement.

Btw O/T = off topic not over the top. You can rant about ST situation all you like :)

I can't really comment, don't have a ST and only get to games when I'm back from Ireland, but to be fair Leazes, when I'm at a match and everyone is sat in silence, it's hard to want to stand up and start belting out the Blaydon Races...All it takes is a couple of people around you singing/shouting/creating an atmosphere and all of a sudden it feels a lot easier to join in!

If the L7 lads get split in 4 say, and stuck in the 4 corners of the ground, then those around them will more likely join in and it COULD create a better all round atmosphere, rather than a lot of noise in 1 spot?

Fair point. It would be a good idea, but I reckon if they split us up, it will be done properly. If it was to be done I would hope they did it in a way that you have mentioned <ok>

I was going to argue but the best atmosphere in the Gallowgate this season was Arsenal in the cup when the L7 lot came to our corner. We arent that bad though.

I think that's a very good point and should be put forward to somebody with a voice, NUST? Get somebody on the job and I think it'll improve the atmosphere no end.

'****' was probably a harsh word. Disappointing seems more sensible.

NUST are a waste of time. Started out with good intentions but have badly lost the plot. It's all fallen on it's arse with them in my opinion.

I feel sorry for people who have given them money. Biggest waste of time, only come about when something happens at the club.

So we don't have a voice then, and somebody has run off with the money?

I hope this isn't the case but I have heard of a few normal NUFC fans giving them a lot of money towards the bid of buying the club.

What kind of sway do United for Newcastle have i.e. meetings with club officials etc.? They always come across as being very level headed and don't seem the type to be ripping up the bedclothes any chance they get!

They seem to be in the know in terms of getting meetings with the right people but too late. They set up a meeting ages after the applications had to be in about creating a new singing section.
