So after all the drama of Redknapp going, Villas Boas arriving, fans divided, Modric & VDV gone, Dembele & Demspey arrives.

Adebayor signs but appears to have a twin brother.

Bale turns from wing genuis to the welsh ronaldo and is now the best player in the world (bar none :emoticon-0102-bigsm)

Wenger tells us to "calm down",,,,,,,,

The goons lose RVP and turn to little theo wallcott, the pint sized terrior that was ridiculed for his finishing but is now their main "man" in attack.

Virtually Neck and Neck, North London Giants going for 3rd, win this and we see off our closet rival.

IT COMES DOWN TO ONE GAME! (ok not literally ..but you know what I mean)

Who has the bottle and who is going to step up and be a hero? ...(I hear SpursOrSex screaming OBIKA)......funnier things have happened!

but bring it on, am crapping it and can't wait until sunday!

I was more interested in him saying they have no special plans for Bale.

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail <ok>

Just thought I'd add some comments from an Arsenal fan into our thread, seeing as he went to the effort of writing so much.

So, are Cazorla and Wilshere better than any midfielder in either team?
Would you choose Diaby over Sandro or Dembele?
Are you a "******ed" or "deluded", Lennon fan?
How torn are you between Lloris and Chesney? (I know that must be a close one)
With Benny "blowing hot and cold", does "3 Match-o Monreal" claim the LB spot?

Does anyone think it would be rude of me to ask this chap to write a CV for Gomes, Bentley & Co?
Oh, and feel free to grab any of this text for your signatures. <ok>

I have a feeling that HIAG is gonna have a field day with these quotes....

  7. Read that yesterday Roo and thought about commenting - but decided not to tempt fate and wait until after tomorrow........ Good to see that he is not letting club bias cloud his clearly rational judgements however!!

haha, if it was score predication related or anything like that, I'd have stayed well clear until tomorrow afternoon, too. I merely wanted to find out what my fellow spurs fans thought from an arsenal fan other than PISKIE. <whistle>

The only way to respond to deluded goon arrogance is to defeat them and then we can put them in their place.

Although if they win then its going to make their fans and views cranked up with more delusion.

This is why this derby is the most important in recent history.

    Don't worry they'll have a plan.

They'll man mark Bale. If Mertesacker starts running now, he'll catch him.

My Dad's an Arsenal fan so NLD-day is always rather interesting for my family...

This is the sort of match where I watch 5 mins and then start getting nervous so I switch it off for 5 - rinse and repeat.

In the Man Utd - Spurs game that we won in 2012, I had to go out at after it went 3-2 as I couldn't watch!

Me too Moorpheus! Well I went upstairs and just paced around for the last 10 minutes.
Like the West Ham match Monday will be horrendous at my work if we lose. Actually it will be a lot lot worse.

Since you decided to post my comments and have a chat about my views on here without commenting on the thread i posted it in, i've come over to say hi!

Firstly, Cazorla has a combined 20 goals/assists so far this season (with all 11 goals comming in the league). Please point out which spurs midfielder can play the attacking midfield role better? Cazorla can play with both feet, has a good shot on him, great passing range, can dictate the tempo of a game etc...

Then Wilshere is in fantastic form this season, starting off most of our moves, driving past players and currently rated by most pundits etc as one of the best in the league. Again as a driving force in midfield i can't see which spurs player you would replace him with in a best 11. Feel free to give some sort of thought out response as opposed to just dismissing my comments.

My comment about Diaby was tongue in cheek. He is never fit enough to actually be considered for a best 11. Opinion is split on him even amongst the Arsenal ranks, but whenever he is fit enough he starts for Arsenal and for France and that has been the case even in previous years when we have had some of the best midfield players to grace the league. He is top quality, but never fit enough to string together enough games to show it. Which is why my post says i'd take one of Sandro or Dembele instead. ("1 spurs midfield man and 2 Arsenal ones")

I hardly think they are outrageously biased views. Wilshere and Cazorla would play for any of the top 4 and i've accepted that the third spot would go to a spurs player.

Ok, onto your next question that you somehow arrived at from reading (mis-reading) my comments. My comment about Lennon was in regards to Walcott. Spurs fans have constantly argued that Lennon was better than Walcott and now it is becomming very obvious that Walcott is the more talented player. Again, this isn't biased at all but based on performances and statistics. At no point do i call anyone deluded or ******ed for being a Lennon fan, but rather i attack the notion that Lennon is better than Walcott. So you've obviously mis-read or mis-understood my intentions there.

As for Lloris vs the young pole in goal. I've said it's a close call. I rate both keepers very highly and would have glady seen Lloris at Arsenal (i've listed him as one of my prefered keeper options when we wanted Almunia out). I listed this years EPL statistics to back up my claims which show both keepers have performed to a very similar standard. Not sure how thats biased.... I didn't even say i'd choose Szc, but rather it'd be a closer call than you seemed to assert.

And moving onto the LB spot. I've said i'd happily have either Gibbs or Monreal as i'm currently happy with these two options at Arsenal. BUT i went on to say i can understand why some might argue for his (benny) inclusion, particularly as Monreal is new to the league. And even went as far as to say i'd put any of the 3 into the team and don't think any of them stand out above the rest. So again, i'm not sure how you've arrived at your question on this one.

As for Arshavin - he got 14 goals/assist in 15 games in his first season with us, he then went on to get combined goals/assists of 19 the following season and 27 the season after, last season he managed 7 in 11 for Zenit but only 6 for us (these 6 did however include match winners which ultimately meant we finished above you lot and you didn't get CL football, his assist for Henry against Sunderland was pure magic). Even this season where he has made odd sub appearances he has 7 in 11 apps. Like i said, his stas are VERY impressive. So even when he is off form he still produces match changing moments. It's due to his defensive failings that he cannot command a spot in the team. He isn't in the same category as the other deadweight we have or you lot have who are genuinely crappy players! He is unfit and uninterested and so of no use to us at the moment, BUT your comment made was that "look how that turned out" in regards to Arsenal signing Arshavin. It's clear it was a good signing.

In future, if someone bothers to take the time to have a sensible discussion with you and articulate there views, don't go back to your own board and try and have a laugh at them behind there back. It's pathetic ;)
