Beckham has stuck it out in MLS because his contract entitles him to buy an expansion franchise later in this decade at an absolute steal, provided he stays until the end of this season. The rumour isn't as ridiculous as it sounds. After all, everyone knows about the deal Aidy tried to pull off four years ago, and I'm absolutely certain SEJ would have funded it. But Becks won't be in England for football reasons until the January transfer window at the earliest.
He was one of the three richest footballers of all time before his $250m deal at LA Galaxy. Didn't stop him taking every penny he could. Don't get me wrong, I love Becks. But when he isn't wearing an England shirt, money is probably his primary motivator.
He might enjoy an involvement with the academy! He likes kids ,is a good ambassador could work! Think his legs wouldnt be up to a season in the championship though! Be of great help to people like Murray and RJ etc!
A 4-2-3-1 with Beckham alongside Eustace, at least three of Cowie, Deeney, Buckley and Sordell somewhere in the four spots in front of them, a right footed right back and a left footed left back? I can think of weaker title-winning teams.
Hmmmmmm maybe ,I still think he might struggle fitness wise ,plus he has been injury prone the last few years! I would like him to be involved off the pitch , Coach ,club ambassador ,academy etc! Also be good for the local business directory that the club has set up!
I'm sure Beckham and Jenkins could hypothetically last the majority of a season between them. And we always loan two central midfielders anyway, so no worries there!

Murray will start several games next season, and in terms of raw talent only Buckley can touch him. But I'm pretty sure he won't be in contention to be a first team regular until the season after. He needs to adapt to the physicality of the men's game.
