Not strong enough to give him testing time though. Williams had enough faith in Bottas to put him in FP1 other than Senna for example. Robin is getting wasted at Sauber IMO, needs to swallow his pride and consider it's F1 or no F1.

Michael Schumacher will be back in action at a karting event in Italy this weekend, with the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion entering a round of the WSK Euro Series.Schumacher, who is racing for the acclaimed Tony Kart squad, will contest the KZ1 category at the La Conca International Circuit near Lecce. The German is part of a five-strong team which includes reigning KF1 World Champion Flavio Camponeschi.Among Schumacher's rivals over the course of the weekend will be 15-year-old rising star Max Verstappen, the son of former F1 adversary and Benetton team-mate Jos.

So will Schumacher insists that he has all the spare karts and force Verstappen jnr into putting his own settings on Verstappen's kart and not share the telemetry? Ahh, that'll bring back memories for his old man. ooooooooooohhhhhhhh.................!
May have been missed under other news but Maria De Villota is cleared to drive again. Probably not an F1 car but its good news that she will be able to continue persuing her passion
Amazing news, can't even begin to imagine the strength and determination she must possess to have recovered from such a horrific accident so quickly. A real inspiration.

Will Buxton's updated his blog: http://willthef1journo.wordpress.com/2013/02/28/no-time-for-tears-racing-romanticism-and-revolution/ I think he makes the situation sound slightly worse than it is when talking about drivers being picked for financial backing not talent; a lot of drivers receive backing because of their talent, such as Vettel from Red Bull and even Bianchi's backing from Ferrari. It is pretty bleak though, especially the bit about so many GP2 drivers being picked ahead of WSR drivers, he even acknowledges how weak last season's GP2 field was, yet four have graduated to F1 this season. I think another professional formula would be excellent. At the moment kids are just buying their GP2 seats to get a professional drive in F1, having another professional formula can only be good for the talent pool. However, I don't think it could work with GP2 becoming a pro series. In football the pyramid system works because teams are fighting for promotion, but you can't promote GP2's top drivers because you can't force F1 teams to take on drivers. And you can't promote teams because the GP2 teams don't have the budgets to run an F1 team, also the bottom teams in F1 would find it impossible to secure sponsorship if there was a chance they could be relegated from the series. If GP2 became a professional series the same problems would still exist, the teams would still be run for money, looking for drivers who could pay rather than drivers who want paying; F1 is a professional series and this still happens in F1. I think the threatened breakaway of a few seasons ago would've been the best thing that could've happened to the sport. A series that could've rivalled F1 in terms of budget and prestige (they'd have had some of the best teams and drivers after all) would've meant double, or close to double, the number of drives for young racing drivers. Neither series would've wanted to be slower than the other either so the cars would probably be a lot faster too.
Wow, after I said Sauber was boring last year they appear to have changed their livery and be more fun and crazy, which is exactly what I suggested. Add them to the list of people that read this forum
Apparently in the Sun paper, Vettel said Hamilton cheated on Topgear and wants another shot at the lap.
Benson tweeted that yesterday, The Daily Fail and The Chav, forgot to mention he was joking with regards to the "cheating" part.
