He looks quite trim in that moonwalking picture. I thought he'd come back a bit chubby. A good sign ?
He's trim BECAUSE of the moonwalking Kemps. Emmanuel Petit weighed 21 stone when he arrived at Arsenal. 2 weeks of moonwalking under Wenger and he was down to 12. FACT. Just wish Fryatt wouldn't wear blades while he was doing it, it's dangerous and rather unprofessional.
Do they sell them knee lenghts in the club shop,or has he cut them down himself ? I fancy a pair of those. The boots look downright lethal though
I was going to say the same, he looks slimmer there than he ever has at City and not what I expected at all. He's hardly matty Fry-up there is he? Maybe a break from all the commuting and eating whilst driving has paid off
can't believe there are people who welcome back Matty with "whoever missed his scuffed goals?".. ****wittery of the highest order..
Are you pleased about this news? I know you lot hold Matty in high regard but it could be bad news for you. Bit bittersweet, like me sticking Watford in my treble tonight, want them to lose & win at the same time
I believe we are now entitled to demand we get proper goals. 25 yard screamers, over head volleys, 10 feet dives to head to the top corner. We do not want to see scuffer goals. We are owed that much.
You stick Watford on your treble. I stick pins in a voodoo doll I've made of Mathew James. Bit daft really because we need him fit and playing as he's ****ing dire. In fact he could be Lloyd's long lost brother.
What the **** is with "blades"? Did I miss something about proper studs you screw in made of old pig iron? Modern footballers, I tell ya, pussies.
Can't remember which way around it is but studs and blades are better one way for another for softer or harder pitches.
Welcome back Matty - won me a good bet last season when some tosser said he wouldn't score 15 goals after the opening game on Sky against Blackpool - oh that Barnsley hat-trick was so sweet.
My first proper boots were ****. Old style rugby types that went over yer ankles, and the stud in them(yes "the" stud) hurt me more than the opposition !
I was waiting for that as well! It's the only reason I started reading the thread having got the facts from the title!
He's a half decent bloke and i'm glad he's back from his injuries. Hope it stays like this. But i'm not worried. The bloke needs 20 chances to score, just as your current strikers do.
