At his press conference today Jol confirmed that Diarra will be out for at least another 3 weeks but there are no new injury worries ahead of the Sunderland game. The main question is whether any of the new signings will feature in the starting line-up and interestingly, Enoh did not play for the U21s on Monday night.

There were no indications by Jol however that he is going to rotate players at this stage and the only shuffling it seems will be on the bench, with Richardson back in the squad to face his old team. While last weekend’s team should be good enough to get a result, I really would have liked Urby to start. But it looks like -

    ……………Schwarzer……….
    ..Riether..Senderos..Hangeland…Riise..
    ……Kara…….Ruiz….Sidwell…...
    Dejagah…………………….Duff..
    ……………Berbatov……

I'd go with Urby for Duff, who was quiet against Stoke, but not sure Jol will agree.

    I would go for usual back 5 (Hughes not Senderos) with;

    Enoh, Kara, Frimpong

    Duff Ruiz

    Berba

with Emanuelson replacing either Duff or Ruiz, depending on form.

I guess Jol might not change a winning team, but I think he'll keep it tight at the back and play more defensive, which might mean dropping
Dejagah and Duff for Frimpong and Baird.
I'd like to see us test Titus Bramble if he plays, who is a bit like Senderos, always seems to make one or two bad mistakes a game.
Fletcher and Graham can be a handful, but I think Sessegnon is their most dangerous player, and on his day Adam Johnson.
Their keeper has had a good season, but lets hope Berbatov has got them worried, and does the unexpected again.

You think Jol will make three changes to a winning team? We're lucky if he makes one change from a losing team!

Hope more than think- we got a result against a weak Stoke side. I don't think we can play that team and win often.

In his internal video interview Jol hints that the only change from the Stoke game will be Frimpong for Kara (so more akin to the Norwich line-up). Other than that he expects Hangeland and Senderos to sign in the next week.

On Riether he says, "We have the option and if we take that, up he stays." Seems a tad bullish since the player might have something to say about that!

No, and on the contrary. It's just that here, Jol seems to be making a big assumption. Sascha said recently, "As things stand now, I will return to Koln in the summer.I have to consider and talk to both clubs. Nothing is decided yet. Fulham can activate a clause and I also have to agree.".

I don't think there would be a problem, he clearly loves being an automatic starter and fans favourite here, but I agree that it's a bit presumptuous to assume he would sign a contract, you never know what the situation could be in the summer, just look at what happened with Pogrebnyak.

I think that Fulham will start with 11 players.

I think possibly it's more of a slip of the tongue than a definite assumption. He could've gone to great length to say Sascha has to agree and that nothing is set in stone, but he didn't. I wouldn't read so much into it.

This isn't the same as Pogrebnyak, as Riether is not out of contract int he summer. However, if Jol or anyone thinks we can extend the loan they are wrong - whatever happens, someone signs Riether next season.

There is a part of me that wonders if Riether wants to see if Koln can be promoted back to the Bundesliga? I can't think of any other reason he wouldn't sign, since Koln clearly can't afford him at the moment! For reference with 13 games left, Koln are 15 points from an automatic promotion spot but only 3 points away from the promotion play off spot.

Well, the fact that Koln have already said that Riether will not play for them next season means he basically is out of contract as any club will be able to submit a nominal bid and sign him.

    I'm gonna go with.........no.

Why DCFC if you support Chavski? Not that I blame you, I wouldn't want anyone knowing either.

Well, I think we can confirm that Enoh won't be involved, as he played in the under 21 win over Chelsea tonight. Same goes for Simon Davies (although I doubt anyone would expect him to be involved quite yet).
