I love the fact that Lawro's justification appears to be "well QPR have got to win a match at some point". You've really out done yourself this time Lawro.
He bases it on the fact that he keeps predicting a QPR win and will be right sometime. He also says that we aren't getting the results we should with our performances. Strange reason to predict a QPR win. Piers Morgan predicts a QPR win because he's a twat.
He did rather well last week, plus he is right QPR are bound to win sooner or later... Fortunately Southampton have a good record against the bottom sides. So should be a tight one. I think that we have the potential to score more goals than the R's so if we can get two I cannot see them getting that many . My starting XI would be: Boruc, Clyne, Shaw, Fonte, Yoshida, Cork, Schneiderlin, Lallana, Davis, Puncheon and Lambert.
3-1 Saints - they need to come out and play at some stage to win the game, and we`ll pick them off. Repeat of the game at Loftus Road. Full squad almost to pick from, and Spider`s contract signing is a morale boost. COYS!
Yes, of the five of us, us and Wigan have been picking up the points in these mini head-to-heads so far, and QPR, Villa and Reading haven't. Unless that changes between now and May, then I'm pretty certain that that is where the relegation line will fall (as is currently the case right now) - pretty much regardless what we each do against the 15 teams in the league from now on.
'No Saints: Redknapp will face hate-fuelled reception from Southampton fans, warns Pochettino' http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/harry-redknapp-faces-hate-fuelled-reception-1736159
It's like a person constantly betting on the horse with the 99-1 odds and only three legs...sure, you'll feel like a genius that one time when all of the other horses run in the wrong direction, but by that time you're living in a van down by the river.
To be fair to Lawro, in his table QPR are chasing Europa League, so you'd expect them to beat us. Never understood how randomly assigning a score to each game constituted good football punditry.
Bears no relationship to what MP said in his interview. Said he doesn't know what went on with Redknapp, but respects the fans feelings. Also said he wants us to concentrate on supporting the team. Obviously lost in the translation from Spanish to English to crap.
It's by Alex Crook again. I have to say he is very, very sensationalist. Have thought so in the past.
Makes for a better story though and that's the most important thing in all media stories, even if it's not true!
Just noticed that Villa and Wigan both play after us this weekend. I do always prefer to get your own result in before the teams around you, regardless of if you win, lose or draw.
To be fair I thought QPR would do quite well this season, but have clearly too many individual talents rather than a team.
This game really sets us up for for how the season ends. Win & the pressures off, lose & we are right in the mix with some tough fixtures approaching. A draw would suit us more than Qpr, but right now I wouldn't take that, I'm hoping for all guns a blazin.
Well I've never thought it was personal with him, even though he's as popular as a disease in these parts, but that beats all. I hope we thrash them, just to see the look on his face. No hard feelings QPR. Blame that idiotic pundit.
