...on loan of course. Holloway is going to have a coronary. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/10258760.UPDATE__Briggs_won_t_be_available_for_Watford_s_televised_clash_with_Wolves/
Hopefully he's a career criminal when it comes to robbing opposing attackers though. Not sure about this one to be honest. Cover for Pudil ? Or a try-before-you-buy perhaps ?
It was Biggs that robbed the Great Train in 1963 not Briggs. Actually a chap called Briggs was the first person to be murdered on a train in England.......
I knew that (the Biggs bit). But didn't want to be pedantic about it. The latter part was interesting though. I did learn about the first person to be killed by a train was on the Stephenson line from Manchester to Liverpool on the day it opened. This thread has gone way 'off track' already.
In our new set-up it is hard to work out where the initiative comes from for this kind of inward loan at this point in the season. Has Zola said he needs another left-back for the final push? Have the scouts spotted an available player with potential, and recommended a trial? Are Fulham trying to put a player in the shop window? If it is the first, then it is a signal of intent, and will create a bit of unease among rivals who must have thought they knew all about us. Forsyth must be a bit disappointed though.
True about Forsyth but good to have more bodies in for the run in. I think he is just cover, you never know though.
apparently we looked at him last january and in the summer too...seems he's been on our hotlist for a while. My cousin, who is a mad Fulham fan says he's very good, and needs a run of games...but the suspicion that this is a 'try before you buy' thing, hasn't gone unmentioned on twitter...
Why not try before you buy, you know it makes sense. There have been one or two loanees who have not exactly set the world on fire who I would be surprised to see here next season, but we didn't know that they weren't that good until they were tried out.
Was an MP too - pity we couldn't resurrect the Rocket and make the current batch 'walk the line' as well.
His name was Huskisson, he was an MP for Liverpool and I'm pretty sure that there is a monument to him somewhere in Liverpool.......
Shouldn't we be getting a goalkeeper in on loan if we want to field an entire 11 from elswhere just to spite Holloway.
We could take Ian Holloway on loan to clear the stadium after the games. His humour and ranting would drive anyone out.
Can anyone point me to where the story is on the OS? I'm guessing that he'll have number 25, as that's the lowest unused number I can think of without checking.
Yes, you could sign that fat **** off the go compare adverts for a tenor,at least you'd have actually bought someone. See what i did there ?
Looks like those moaning idiots on the Leicester board have got an issue with our new loan signing... http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...to-make-their-13th-loan-signing-of-the-season
The motivation is not hard to figure. Pudil is on 9 yellows and the amnesty for a two match ban is April 2nd. Hoban's ankle is serious enough to warrant an Italian specialist. Neuton has a back problem which is the new Watford euphemism for 'wants to go home/anywhere other than London Colney'.
