Hamilton started his race simulation 30mins later than Massa, on a track that was constantly improving. What did you expect?
Part of me thinks it was a mistake to even try to control it. The loophole will always exist unless the FIA find a way of rewriting physics. By tightening the load tests they've just caused the teams to plough more money into that area. If they'd left it alone the chances are most of the teams would've caught up with Red Bull long ago in this area, a few teams already had their wings flexing in 2010, and Red Bull were already scraping the track with their endplates so it's not like they could've extended their advantage in this area.
True, the track was improving a lot. Looks about 0.7-0.8 a lap down on race pace. *Didn't have the ticker on hold, was watching it all downstairs having no idea of stint lengths or times.*
Yeah. Personally I think the Williams is slightly better looking, but they both look great. Shame the RB9 doesn't have a vanity panel, the step ruins it.
In short just by looking at the pictures they reckon the tunnel feeds air into certain locations of the car and stalls the diffuser and the beam wing.
Hey, I've just bought the 2013 Live Timing App, does anyone know if it works for pre-season testing as well as normal race weekends?
FA @ joseluisf1 According to Gazzetta, it seems that Ferrari could make a Idiada aerodynamic test next week. FA @ joseluisf1 Starting tomorrow, we expect innovations such as the Ferrari F138 exhaust half-finalized, but today might be something FA @ joseluisf1 Ferrari also expected to try the wings and the bottom almost final for Australia
Doubt it, I had the 2011 version and didn't get that option. (Practice-Quali-Race) that's it I think.
Dang. I just assumed that if this last pre-season test got some decent coverage (which I hear it has), it might work on the app.
