Right, below are the seed pots for this years CL. What would be the ideal draw? Should we hope for 2 big teams and the worst pot 4 team and hope for 3rd place? Or hope for the "easy" draw and try get into the last 16? I want last 16. We'd get pumped no doubt, but the extra money would be much more than even getting to the Europa League final (not that I think that would happen) Pot One: Inter Milan, Barcelona, Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Lyon. tbh i cant see us progressing out of the group stages so i'm pessimistic and hope for a 3rd place finish, but as soon as we get a decent draw i'll be excited about the last 16
Thats what I was thinking.....but then they probably see us as an easy draw as well. As long as we pick up at least 4 points from the bottom seeded team I would think we would be guaranteed 3rd. We would just need the top 2 teams to beat them twice and take what we can from our games against the top 2 seeds
I'd quite like AC Milan, think they're a shadow as well nev. Dodgy keepers, old defence, old midfield. Up front they have Pato who is good and Ronaldinho is unplayable IF he's on form. They play Balotelli as well who is ****ing terrible. Pippo Inzaghi was better than him, and he was meant to be the worst player about. ML - I looked at the pots last night and your hardest one is exactly the same as I thought. I actually think Rangers will be better in Europe this year, Miller will have Beattie and Jelavic instead of Boyd and Novo up-front with him and Weiss will surely offer more on the right flank than Johnny Rotten did last year.
