Well... if Hamilton finished 3rd this year, firstly I'd eat my pants and secondly I'd be well pleased!
The Mercedes has looked surprisingly quick at times, potential race winner, and with things being so close a potential title challenger in Hamilton's hands. I'd love it if Button found his form of 2011 and there was a five way fight for both championships between Hamilton, Button, Vettel, Alonso and Raikkonen and the top five teams for the constructors.
That would be the ultimate F1 season wouldnt it. Mix into that Sauber and Williams and it could be special. Though I dont like the news Red Bull is going to whip everyone
Here's a thought, maybe Webber and Seb are just the best drivers on the grid *Gets knocked out and put into a boot of a car*
What's that I can smell? I think it's Optimism... The new fragrance by AbsolutelyGlorious! Either that or Horse poo!
Judging by the pace so far today it seems quite obvious that Merc has pace and the previous long runs were positive. Given that it is highly likely that Lewis can drag an extra tenth or two on a quali lap (and will have a point to prove) I would not be suprised to see him at the sharp end of the grid come Aus. And fair play to him - I have never been his biggest fan and am a JB fan first - as a British driver I actually hope he does well!
I don't know why Anderson is not appreciated on here, he has forgotten more about F1 than any expert on here can remember, his "understanding" of things F1 is first class.
