Mighty saints to run out comfortable winners, be tense start but I think if we can score early ish goal should win this comfortably, and send QPR and saggy face down
QPR have over 3,100 fans coming down. It should also be a sell out crowd. Need to keep the atmosphere positive, even if we go behind.
Exactly! And away fans don't tend to turn on their team if things are going pear shaped. So, we must make sure that we provide our team with that extra bit of positive support to push them on to three points and victory.
Been watching the U-21's highlights and that Omar Rowe looks like a hell of a player. Fast as hell and with tricky feet. Should whack him on the bench maybe.
We have always had a decent turnout at Southampton. I used to love going to the Dell. This will be my first visit to St Marys. I am anticipating another loss but the one thing I have learned with QPR over the years is to expect the unexpected.
'#Saintsfc defender Luke Shaw is a doubt for the weekend visit of #QPR. Other doubts too that the manager wouldn't specify.' I have a bad feeling that Lambert is out. He was supposed to be doing the interview today, but it was changed to Morgan yesterday. Maybe I'm putting 2+2 together and getting 5. I certainly hope so because if we need Rickie for any game, it is this one.
Maybe. But Shaw has seemed to pick up a knock most games but has up until now, normally recovered in time (Touch Wood). I wouldn't be surprised to see someone else giving LB a go if Shaw does miss the game though. Either Clyne with Richardson at RB, or Forren/Yoshi.
If Fox does play it would be nice to see the fans get behind him. We are a team not a one man band. Sometimes it seems as if Fox were to trip on his way out of the dressing room there are people ready to say he cost us the game.
If Shaw is out, I'd prefer a Clyne-Richardson as full-back's - just don't have the confidence in Fox, especially in such a big 6-pointer.
