football only would be boring what would people have to talk about in the close season apart from transfers and the new seasons fixtures
Cheers Nuts. I didn't post on the first 3 stages as I didn't feel that a lot needed changing. So I'm pretty happy to go with the flow. The only thing I would like to say, and that is that the off topic threads add a lot more to our board than some people realise. There is only so much that be discussed within this great club of ours. Especially in our current climate. The OT subjects add a greater depth to the different characters that post on here, and add a more human element to our board rather than chatting away to fellow avatars. They have also been among some of the best threads on here and have also I found, been quite educational.
How about I buy a vbullentin license and set us up under our own domain and site, if they don't want to give a off topic section which is what the majority want let's just **** it and set up our own, they have more lose than we do let's put it that way,
Cheers Brix, pretty relaxed over OT posts. Sometimes interesting threads, especially in longer breaks.
Also I can see where this is going the mods want each topic Pre screened wiith various tags ie nsfw etc, I ain't on that and may piss of if that happens
Key word being moderate. But OT stuff is vital imo to add vitality to this board. ...and what Nines said
Abstain: The Metamorphosis is what it is and credit to every poster who has posted IMO. I believe the raising of awareness will have the speed camera effect so ... please log in to view this image
I will talk qpr when I feel like it but prefer to have an off topic section so the footy anoraks don't get their nickers In a twtwist sadly it ain't gonna happen so I may say adios to not 606
Are you ok me old mate? Your acting a bit out of character tonight. Where is the humourers and insightful cerny gone?
Not much needs to change, it's just a clamp down on offensive extremes. We can all have a laugh with each other still.
I don't see a majority wanting an OT section, most seem happy to have OT threads on our board. If you're just pissed off because there isn't going to be a separate OT section then go and set your own one up, you, Swords and DT would soon get bored...
I come and go as I please but agree there is only so much you can moan about our club at the moment I have always seen this board as Entertainment we aren't the club we are just a gang of of online friends who have a common interest in WPR as well as other interests The fact that some have all met face to face proves this forum's worth I would love it to go to the next level and have a combined voice to the club as this could be a very powerful force when and if the club wakes up to the fact ... However people are encouraged to use the clubs officials media channels which as we all know if very lame Facebook pages about toilet paper And the marketing expectation from that they will touch their audience is and will only be a marketing stat at some meeting to justify someone's job Maybe we should lead the way after all we have a live active product here which as we all know is read by QPR If they had any sense they would start their own forum ... God I am full of ideas this morning
