    Hate electronic advertising.

Why is that classed as 'exciting' for the fans?

As though you're meant to sit there watching it rather than the game.

I'd rather watch LED boards than our game against Bolton...

Completely with you on that - it's really distracting when used during play. I'm just waiting for the first player/supporter to suffer an epileptic fit!

We have just had then put in at the KP Stadium. When the boards go white its pulls your attention away and if the ball is down the opposite end of the pitch you cant see the ball sometimes. They are miles too bright for night matches

Do people not like the Kit this season? I have the away kit and I think it looks pretty good.

The away is quite nice, but there are other manufacturers that are better than Adidas. Puma and Kappa aren't that bad, and Nike does make the odd good one.

Can't see us ever going with puma- potential big cat conflict on shirt front.

Thought Nike now owned Umbro rather than Adidas?

Kappa for me, only if we don't go with Umbro.

The 2008/9 kit is the benchmark. FACT.

Agreed. The Fusion Blue from season (PL) 2009/10 also is a class strip imo.

We had these LED boards when we were in the PL so it's nothing new.

    Thought we did.

Reckon it's just a case of seeing them in Bolton and somebody saying "do you reckon we should put them back in?".

They've probably just been in storage.

Reckon if a group of fans (a sort of commercial ultras) agreed to sing chants that advertised brands they could net a few quid for themselves?

‘Footie’ fans of the future and all that.

No. I'm pretty sure the ones we had in the PL were part of some deal that you get them if you stay in the PL for one season, they came here from Middlesborough (yeah they were tainted by your favourite team! <laugh>) and they ****ed off somewhere else when we got relegated.

These ones will presumably be ones that we've organised ourselves.

In the Premier League, you get the LED boards free, but someone else sells the advertising and you just get a small commission(unless you've got the sense to do it yourself and make your own money).

In the Championship, you have to pay for it yourself, but at least you get to keep the revenue.

We should have done it years ago, but unfortunately, we had Duffen in charge.

Ah fair enough, didn't we get our first scoreboard at the KC from the smoggie ****s too?

I was told that on my first tour of the KC, but I got the impression that the woman showing us around didn't have a clue what she was talking about. So it may or may not be true.

Speak for yourself. In the East Stand we won't be able to see them.

Absolute disgrace from the club, sack them all. ;)

I love the away kit, when it was announced we had adidas making the kits I was hoping we'd get one like this (I saw Real Madrid have a similar one from adidas as their away kit when McManaman played for them and thought it would be perfect for our away kit). Unfortunately it's probably the only decent kit they've made for us, and the club managed to ruin it by sticking our sponsor on them.
