I Like Sammy Ameobi Already!

Could do with bulking up a bit but looks a lot more interested in the game than Shola.

 

Ferguson aswell

Carling Cup team, Krul, Tavs, Taylor, Kadar Jose, RW, Donaldson, Gosling, Fergie, Airey, Ameobi/Richardson

 

He will do with age, Shola use to be the same look at him now absolutely massive.

 

We've already had an example of what Ferguson can do and he's nailed on to succeed, the others haven't really been seen by the majority of fans so are more of an unknown quantity.

 

Fergie should definately be in and around the first11 next season undoubted ability and can more than hold his own in this league.

 

Good to know we've got such a good string of younger players to come through the ranks. I'd be happy enough to see any of them included in the first XI.

 

Dury still out on Donaldson but he is still in development age I would personally send him back out on loan maybe back to Hartlepool so Nobby can look after him.

 

His work off the ball is very good, he always makes himself available to receive it and his positional play can't be faulted. Maybe not a headline grabber but a very good team member.

 

I haven't had the chance to see much of him, hopefully he gets a run out on Sunday.

 

I think we'll maybe see a few of the youngsters get a run out on Sunday.

Sammy Ameobi, what a guy!!! He was in the same class as my sister in school, and he got suspended for stealing equipment from the science department WHAT A GUY!

 

We have all done it. Clearly he was stupid enough to get caught though.

Thought it was funny the chant that started at SJP, "you're **** like you're brother". To be fair when, "Sammy Sammy give iz a wave!" came up he turned and clapped the crowd.

Interesting thing is that unlike Shola, he seems to be wanting to crack into the Nigeria squad as opposed to England. Imagine Shola and Sammy facing eachother in international game, that'd be odd.

Yeah. Imagine the breakfast table conversations in that house! Shola's still available for a Nigeria call-up, could they have an all-Ameobi strikeforce?

Just looked and Tomi Ameobi's playing in the Icelandic league, strange the amount of NE-based players going there recently.

 

We recently sent two youth-teamers (well, who'd just signed their first professional contract) on loan to the Swedish 3rd Division. I'm struggling to see how playing in a league that **** is going to help them break into a Championship side.
